I won on them yesterday and had the game today dead to rights.....
This is a miserable, horrible organization.
I do wonder if there is any chance they compete next year. The whole Back To The Future thing in 2015. I'm sure there will be a lot of future bets out there....and who knows, maybe management actually puts forth some effort.
I honestly don't know enough about baseball....but aren't they like in the top 5 as far as money spent most years. I mean, I think the Yankees and similar teams have a huge advantage, but at least they capitalize on it. The Cubs seem to love the "lovable loser" tag and its like some kind of religious hope, where if it did happen, it would sort of ruin all the years to come, perhaps make them a normal team instead of hearing how much "character" Cubs fans have for losing every damn year.
Right now just pissed they cost me a bet b/c of an error and then leaving guys stranded in extra innings....not to mention I like Notre Damn and Samardzija can't buy a win with such a great ERA.
