Yeah but this is different, those years they would beat Detroit avd pound a jets team. 3 bad drafts in a row. That's not bashing it's the truth.

This was my thought as well. I would rather see them start slow and improve throughout the year like they have under McCarthy. Getting hot at the right time worked well for winning the Superbowl a few years back.Then again bleeding might be right and they just might not be that good. We know we always have a chance as long as we have Rodgers. I guess time will tell.
Anytime you have Rodgers you have a chance. Vikes are screwed, defense is playing well but that offensive line is killing them. They could have Montana back there and they still get smoked. Spielman and the Viking radio hosts are full of propaganda, bragging up an offensive line that really isn't good at all.

Lacy looked lost the first 4 games last year. The offense especially Rodgers all look like something is wrong. Now be honest if you were told the defense would hold Detroit to 7 points at Detroit 99.9% of anyone with a brain would say they win the game. They are thin so its a concern but this is something the slow start first 4 games is a given. Asfar as the draft who knows their draftees takes time to judge. Thompson so strongly believes in developing players they believe in time it pays off you have to wait and be patient. To many people get caught in names and what have you done for me lately. Bottom line after 16 games look at the standings that's your answer.

4 straight playoffs and 3 straight division titles with them lousy drafts...They will win the division again this year even if they lose to Chic next week. Bank it BP.....:0074
If they lose Sunday they will not win the division. Winning the division had all to do with Mr Rodgers, winning this division is nothing spectacular with the teams who are in it. They were a Super Bowl winner 4 years ago, reduced to a team who can't beat playoff caliber teams and besides beating the Vikes in wild card two years ago get bounced. That's regression, it happens. They do real good late and with unsigned free agents now if they could do better in first round. Defense showed improvement.
I understand what you say at times..I really do...Why don't u rip the Giants..they went for SB to missing playoffs to an awful season last year....Now that's regression in a big way.

I will say the Packers are not a very good football team right now, but it's tough to give up on a team in week 3, 1 game out of 1st place. With the defense showing signs of life, and the offensive history of this team, it makes them a threat if they can put it all together on both sides of the ball. Rodgers had a bad game and we live and die with him. If he continues to have an off year we're done.
The year Green Bay won the Super Bowl, they got beat in Detroit 7-3, only eight weeks before hoisting the Lombardi trophy. They could crash and burn this season, but they have more than enough time and talent to turn things around.

Well I guess that's what I love about a Packer fans and I'm glad you are optimistic! Being a Viking fan it's easy to be Pessimistic but without AP this year the only hope us that the team improves at quarterback and secondary and then be able to work on Oline next year
I got to tell you this is why I give the Packer fans crap though, it's the denial. Now that's two references in this thread about the Super Bowl. Hahahahaha they could barely beat the Jets and I would have fired the entire jets coaching after that game. Plus the talent thingy, the talent is gone. I'm sorry it just is, it happens, it's a mediocre to below average roster with a dynamite QB. Maybe they will prove me wrong by the end of the season but there are a lot of differences between this team and the one who won the Super Bowl fans keep referring to.
