R. Gordon +10000 for 1/2 unit.

He was very fast at Altanta and had a shot to win if he didnt cut a tire in the final 20 laps. He's bringing that same car to Texas.

Nice find with these odds.

Khane at 15-1 is nice.If he brings his Atlanta car I`ll have to play him at 12-1.

Mears at 35-1 if I could get that I would take it.I`m looking at 25-1.Mears finished 4th here in both races last year.I`ll have to take a chance he qualifies like he did last year ( 35th and 32nd).

It don`t matter where you qualify here at this track. In the spring Biffle qualied 5th, wrecked his car, went to backup started last ,was leading on lap 87,led the most laps and won the race.

In the fall Carl Edwards started 30th,dominated the 2nd half of the race, led 115 laps and won the race. In a car he earlier finished 2nd with at Bristol..

Yeah I'm not too high on the mears play myself. Just saw too much value in that number. I was looking at B. Labonte as well, he ran strong leading the race in Altanta till his motor expired.

BTW, I got the line on Kahne at sportsbook. It has dropped to 10-1 since.

Kahne odds are getting hammered !! 5-1 at the greek.

I have`nt been able to find whether or not Bobby Labonte is bringing back the same car he had at Atlanta. If someone finds it let me know. I`ll look again when I get in this evening.

Got two early leans on the Busch race, Kyle Busch and Reed Sorrenson with good value.I`ll take another look at them tonight.

Yes Kahne has been hit very hard. I cant find anything on Labonte as of yet. I would think its pretty much a sure thing he's bringing his atlanta car.

I did notice his odds went from 60-1 to 40-1 at sportsbook.

Thanks for looking toast.I`m going to make a small play on him at 35-1.And still get to take a look at his practice speeds Saturday. The guy gets no credit,he started 4th at Atlanta and his odds stayed the same 50-1 at race time.I did find somewhere that Bobby Labonte and Dale Jr done a tire test for two days back in January. Might explain why Jr odds are dropping.

I can`t believe I spent hours looking at the busch race last night and came up with two drivers, I like with odds.I wanted to take a second look tonight.I had no idea they were practicing and qualifying today! To make matters worst Kyle Busch was first in the first practice and Reed Sorrenson was 1st in the final practice.Odds were 15-1 and 25-1.Impound race too. Enough to make a man start drinking.

I like the play on Labonte!! I was hoping for some early matchups with him, R. Gordon or Kyle Petty. To no avail though.

I think those three are sleepers this week that will perform.

i like the early input from you guys.... seems like a pretty big crapshoot this week.

I think betting Biffle on anything is a mistake, purely from the value perspective. His car finished 8th last month at Las Vegas and he just isn't clicking it seems, plus bad luck.

Edwards has a car that won at Atlanta and Pocono last year.

Kenseth's car finished 3rd last fall here. Plus his pit crew is amazing.

Kahne obviously has a good car, from winning at ATL this year.

Jr. continues to make strides and has won here before.

Of course you have a few longer shots with Mears driving the same car that finished in the top 10 at California and Las Vegas this year, plus R. Gordon.

Plus there are still other regulars like Johnson and Stewart.

I'm still learning how to bet this nascar thing...any advice? Any good sites for research/stats? I go to Racingone for some.

Heres a couple sites that are a must for me. Lugs probably has some to add as well

Race2win.net
Catchfence.com
Thatsracin.com
jayski.com

Kahne on the pole. Hopefully we get a Atlanta repeat this week.

I hope M. Martin doesnt spoil the party. He should be very strong

As far as sites toast has used up all mine ! The only thing I could add is trackpass at nascar.com..it`s a must!

Its nice to have Khane at 12 -1,(toast has 15-1).Took a big bite out of the bone and let the others get what they can.Maybe 4-1.

Qualifying don`t mean alot here, practice tomorrow will have alot to play in Sundays race.

I`m not real concerned about M Martin unless he shows some outstanding times tomorrow. And it will have to be top 5.I`ve wasted to much on him, already the last 4ys.He`s on my quit list!
Quit betting on him!.

thanks for the info... also thanks for, at the very least, a great value play in Kahne, as I got some on him at 13/1 and 12/1. Although +450 now seems ridiculous, even if he is on the pole.

I totally agree with Lugs on the Martin deal. He's an amazing driver and all... for the top 10, and top 5. He just hangs around and makes moves late, but never forces anything. Although I will say the only thing that scares me is that he probably wants to win Texas before he rides off into the pastures.
