Congrats to those who had the testicular fortitude and actually played the San Diego Padres.
I'm a die-hard Padres fan (amazing as that sounds), but I didn't come close to touching that game. They struggled way too much recently to give me any hope in placing a wager against Santana.
I do believe they will be a very good pick on Monday versus the LA Dodgers. Not only do they have Peavy on the mound, the Dodgers are playing on Sunday Night baseball and won't get back to the West Coast until the very early hours on Monday.
San Diego is my play of the day for Monday.
