Hey ya'll!! I hate to bitch or complain, but I do appreciate those that post their picks here in the greatest of post your own picks forums on this planet and in the continental US of Ay, but I got a fokenn gripe here.

If you haven't posted all year and then start posting plays, and this goes for those who post all year long, could you at least keep a record of your players, like you are 110-80 and +20 units, or whatever your record is after you post, and the only reason I state this, is, if you have time to post your plays and such and state "I'm on a great run, etc.," then there is nothing to back you up but those who follow your post everyday, but for those of us who don't get a chance to view every thread/post in each sports picks forums, it would help those of us, by you keeping track of your records. Is there any reason you don't keep track of them? Are you afraid the off-shore books, your local or any other outlet is going to move the line when your picks come out? Do you have some other agenda? I don't understand it.

But it would really help those that pop in from time to time to know someone's record when they post their plays, at least it would in my eyes.

And don't take this bitch to heart, I'd just like to know your record for the year or month or half month or whatever. So it doesn't look like you are just posting plays cuz you are fading someone's picks or you see that 67% of the public is on this team and the line keeps moving down, etc. It don't tell us why you like a pick.

It goes for any sport/thread that anyone posts in, cuz curious outsiders and moi, would like to know why you may like a pick and what your record is, period, end of story.

Is this too much to ask or is this just a too big of a bitch thread?

Thanks in advance for everyone that posts their records or try to keep up when they can!!

We appreciate everything you all do!!

Later taters!

Now it's time for a beer, Cards are down 3 zip already!! Those FOKKERS!!

good post; I don't post many plays (need to as I am a great fade) but am on the site every day and appreciate all the hard work the regular posters do as it takes a lot of time to handicap and post the plays, plus if you lose someone will bash you.

agree that this is the best site on the web and Jack and IE do a great job

hope everyone on the site has the best football season ever

NEVER EVER GONNA GET IT...A few select do. It would be an awesome feature added to the forum to have a record keeping service or software. :0074 The issue is simple when you ask someone how they are doing for the month week or year they say it's a free forum follow me or don't.

Best idea I have seen in a long thime, adding record keeping software to the site (or any other) for recording picks at WA lines. Thks

such a lame friggin' answer too.

FCP and I have brought this up many times before--usually to no avail.
yep...and the same cappers' [including yourself who post an up to date and honest record continue to carry the integrity of the forum.

can certainly find out who is willing to be tracked then..

use closing line at any of the great sponsors here and find out who is hot..

and who maybe just a little cold

so ya click on the forum where those are willing to be tracked and away we go..

another great idea implemented at MJ's

Being a newbie I was wondering if this was ever an issue here. In my many years records seem to only get posted if one is winning or on a hot streak.

For my own personal stance I prefer just to add it to my signature after the games/day is over. Win or Lose I like to know how I'm really doing over the long haul. So that is a good way of tracking it for me.

Either way if your "Out" is greater than your "In" you're doing well weather you settle up on Tuesday's, or make with-drawls from a sportsbook at the end of a season. The Bookie knows how your really doing, and I guess he is the one that matters the most.

I personally would like to see records, but I'm not going to get my nuts in a bunch either way.

Good topic however.

What I do not agree with is someone posting a cold line that isn't available any longer. I post plays almost simultaneously as I put the bet in. Don't have me looking for cold lines b/c I'll have issues with that.

Just my .02?

I don't post plays, but have been coming here daily for a very long time.

Very very few posters post a cumulative up to date record, which is fine. Posting a non-available line is worse imo.

Someone posting accurate lines and an up to date record is someone posters should consider following. Others posting plays with inaccurate lines or incomplete records, not so much.

Like rrc I check plays daily. Accurate records are very much appreciated but inaccurate records are the worst and still take place at Madjacks. Keeping your record in the signature line is hard to check because there is no history other than the daily plays. I would assume thats why records are kept in the signature line. If you cant keep an accurate record just dont show one at all. Bill what is a sandbagger?

Jaxx;3719364 Bill what is a sandbagger?[/QUOTE said:
A 'sandbagger' in my terminology is a poster that has a ton of posts, they usually contribute to the other picks forums here, all season they don't post any picks until the last month or two in that sport, for instance, they post regularly in NHL, NFL, NCAAFoots, NBA, etc., then don't post any MLB plays, then in August they are here!! :mj07:

And the only reason I bitch about record keeping, is, I put a lot of work into what I do and I can keep my record, sometimes I have to get my calculator back out to make sure my units for the year are correct and the lines I posted were correct (checking for typos) and those that say, "They are on a great run, and love this play BIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG, or that play LARGGGGGGGGGGGE", ok, I'm glad you like those plays, but what is your record YTD if I am a newbie and looking to tail your play? I know, to each their own, and if you tail and they win, GREAT, but if they tail and lose, if you knew their record in advance, that may help that newbie make a determination. Many times they may like the same play or be opposite of that play, so they either play it or pass it. Either way, the forum is to help each other besides posting, imho, I could be wrong.

Just my bitch and moan period!! I hate it when it happens!!

GL everyone and thanks for the contribution to this thread!!
