first of all i realize both these teams are not exactly the second coming of any top teams ....but sanjose state had two injuries in thier last game ...

antonio lawrence ...11.2 PPG and team leading 6.5 RPG
KIETH west...10.1 PPG and 3.3 ppg

for a team that is bad to begin with losing these two guys can be something extremely difficult to overcome...even against a team like UTEP...

recent meetings show this to be a tight matchup...

both players are listed as questionable as far as i have seen...if anyone has any updated info i would appreciate it

sanjose state laying 9 at home without these two looks inviting...

comments welcome..

thanks in advance

teams seem to rally when players are injured and they play 120%

to make up the difference 9 pts theres a reason why might be a good fade---
just my 2 cents:)

I have a friend who call this his "fallen comrade" theory.

I do have a lean to SAN JOSE STATE minus the number in this matchup.

Utep is 1-9 SU and 4-5-non lined loss in their last 10 games.

Their earlier ats covers were worthy of merit, but I think they revealed their true character in their most recent game...a home dog +6' loss/no cover at the hands of Smu, 65-43.

thanks guys...appreciated...

probably going to pass on this game....too many intangibles ...

and i often see that teams in all sports...seem to rally when a star goes down quite a bit...but usually those teams have the depth and supporting cast to do that...this team is thin as it is in talent.... ...and there are possibly two players out...who do contribute ...unlike the one star falling to injury

again thanks ..and good luck
