I didnt bet on the fight but was leaning on the OVER (ouch) and Santos so would have break even i guess... :shrug: What a hard left punch... Alcine was trying to get up but fall down seeing stars...

wow very nice punch, short and accurate, no telegraph, alcine was finished before he hit the ground.

it looks like we played the over and lost, hopefully the santos win covers it for you guys, mine was a bit short, down 25$ or so.

yeah would have loved for santos to do that in the 11th or 12th round, but what can you do.

to be fair to alcine, those short pinpoint counters are powerful and have taken out many solid-chinned guys. juanma's 1st kd of ponce was with a very short right hook counter that he never recovered from, abe's 1st kd of miranda was short and he never recovered, donaire koed darchinyan with a short counter, pac finally knocked out iron-chinned diaz with a short punch, and of course alcine tonight. in those fights, the loser's chin was holding up fine or they were physically fresh, but 1 short-armed timely counter took them out.

alcine's chin may be poor, though i dont know if this fight was conclusive. great punch by santos.
