Not sure how many people care.. but it's official. He's holding a meeting with the UW players today at 2.

Bon Voyage, Sark. You were quite mediocre.

Wow! You guys won ZERO games the year before he took over. I know Washington is a good program with a great history but it was one of, if not the, worst program in college football when he took it over. I thought what he did was outstanding.

They had zero wins, but I wouldn't call them the worst program in football. They still had Locker and plenty of talent. The problem was Willingham couldn't motivate them to win. I am grateful for Sark making the Huskies relevant again. He provided enough hope for us to get a new stadium built. I'm also grateful that he is leaving behind a job that's desirable to a lot of coaches.

The problem with Sark is that he could never lock down the bigtime in state recruits. Blame it on brutal schedules every year, but each of his seasons had some severe rough patches. I'm not upset he's gone, but it hurts to see the rest of the coaching staff leave with him.

Give me Peterson, Pinkel or Mora... but I don't see Mora coming anymore.. That ship has sailed.

Only chance at anyone on that short list you stated would be Peterson, but there are going to be other job openings soon. Mora aint going anywhere!! He loves So Cal!! Pinkel has his best team this year out of all the teams he's had at Mizzou. SEC is more desirable for him than going to the Pac 100!

Maybe you'll get Orgeron!! :mj07::mj07::mj07:

Love seeing hires like this for teams I don't like. 5 more years of mediocrity for the Trojans. Sark is a "yes man" Gene Chizik type hire.
