8-3 +19.25 units on the year

Arizona St -3 -120(bought 1/2 point) 1unit

I may add more to this because I really like State to control the ball and their D to be able to shut down the run so they can concentrate on Locker.

Really wanting to pull the trigger on the Sooners as a pretty good size play but for once this year I'm going to wait. I want to see what the injuries look like and also what the weather is going to be like.

I thought for sure UT was going to be the 2nd best team in the country this year but so far I haven't seen it out of them. Colt, although his completion % is high, hasn't looked as sharp as last year. His TD/INT ratio is 10/6, for the competition they've played that's not good. Colt hasn't pulled the ball down and run much this year, in this game he's going to need to.

I think this game comes down to the end, if I can buy up to +3.5 then I like my chances either way.

VTech -3 1unit

This is one of those games where I know all of the "weekend" bettors will be on VTech and usually just because of that I would lean GTechs way but the more I look at this the more I really like VTech. Their offense is a lot better than I gave them credit for and Taylor is having a really good year.(not making mistakes) I think VTech has the athletes on D to stop Gtechs run.

I do think the game will be close though and that's why it's only a 1unit play.

Texas Tech +10 2units

I was going to take Tech at 7 so I'm loving the extra 3. Sheffield is a much better qb for Tech and it's not because of his passing. It's because he's very mobile and Tech's line needs someone more mobile than Potts. He was just too stiff back there and didn't get any extra time out of plays. Leach has also decided to start getting the ball in the hands of Harrison Jeffers and Jeffers has showed that he's an explosive player when he has the ball. I think his blocking skills on pass plays is the only thing holding him back at this point.

I might be wrong but IMO Nebraska's offense isn't good enough to cover this spread. I'm really hoping they try to shorten the game and control the clock with they're running game. If Tech can stop the Neb running game from busting any big plays then I think they have a great shot straight up in this game.

Wow. I just realized that game is AT ASU. How on earth are the Dawgs only getting 3'???? ASU should be no less than a TD favorite, IMO.

My Huskies have to be one of the most misunderstood teams in the nation. Everyone was ready to anoint them the next best thing after they beat USC, then they went on the road and got clobbered by 20 at Stanford. They then played well at Notred Dame, and should have won, but came up short. On Saturday they got dominated by U of A, but somehow managed to win the game due to the Wildcats choking in the last 4 minutes.

I'm thinking if the Huskies lost on Saturday they would be a bigger dog against ASU. But because they won the game on a fluke play, they are getting more credit than they deserve.

They are improved this year and Sarkisian is going to have that program turned around sooner than most expected, but people forget this is the same team that didn't win a single game last year.

GL with your play. I'd be amazed if it doesn't hit.

Glenn, you are right on about the line and it's already up to 6.5 as of last night(haven't looked today). I was pretty suprised when I saw it.

AR, I did get a good line.(early bird gets the worm ) I guess I won't be adding to it now. I've never ever tried to middle a game and I don't think it's very smart to but on this game I might try. I have a hard enough time picking the winner of a game, let alone picking the games in which the spread will fall between two numbers. But, if I could somehow get 7.5 I would come back on Wash(i think anyway)

I spoke with my brother this morning and he is all over Tech this weekend also. I can't imagine Tech not covering 10 points against a horrible Nebraska offense. The only question I have is if Tech will be able to score against a really good defense. I watched Nebraska's defense win last weeks game for them against Mizz. Also, Nebraska gets an extra two days to prepare for this match-up. However, with that said I still think Leach's offense will score points no matter who is at QB adn will cover 10.

What are your thoughts on the Cinncy vs USF (+3.5)? I know it is an ESPN Thursday night game and there is some trend that home dogs on ESPN Thursday night games win but Cinncy is to good for USF. I reviewed USF's schedule and they haven't played anyone with a winning record yet. I know Cinncy hasn't really played anyone good yet either but they have been embrassing teams! I love Pike and the WRs on Cinncy and I think the defense is good enough to stop USF. Thoughts?

Scott, I don't know what to think about the Cinci vs USF game. One of the first things I look at it past matchups between the teams. I think one of the biggest if not the biggest things when two teams play is how their systems and coaches matchup vs each other. Anyone who's played sports knows that there are just some teams you struggle with and it's not always because of the talent. Cinci has handled USF and it hasn't been close the last few years. There's just not anything that makes me think USF can buck that trend. I'm not saying they can't I just can't, I just don't see anything that stands out and makes me think they can. Saying that, if I had to I would take the points and the home advantage because when all else fails, those are pretty strong edges.

2-1 +1.9 units for the day

10-4 +21.15 units on the year

A good day but I was still pissed. I spent the better part of the week debating on whether or not I should be buying back my VTech play. I knew it wasn't a smart move. After 20 years of this stuff I still make mistakes and break my own rules. Some how I truely thought that VTech's offense had come together enough to win the game. :nono:

Didn't pull the trigger on a big play on OU. I thought I might be able to get 3.5 without buying it up but I never had the opportunity.

I sure do wish I could have gotten my 7.5 on Wash, that would have been my first middle ever. I don't try them because I don't think the risk vs reward is worth it but that would have been nice.

All in all it was a good day. I think more people might take note of Tech now. The team is a totally different team with Sheffield at QB. I think he's energized them with his play and attitude.
