Oregon -40 First Half
Past few years, Oregon does not dick around with the weak sisters, especially in a home opener. 50-10 last year, 41-7 vs Nevada in 2011, 59-0 in 2010. They come right out and smash them in the mouth in the 1st half. Looking at 49-0 type effort here.
Virginia +3
A much improved Cavalier team that played very solid at home last year going 3-4. However in 6 of their 7 games at home, Virginia stayed with in 6 , the only exception losing to N Carolina 37-13, but even that game. the Cavaliers were within 7 in the 4th Quarter with 1st and goal. The Tar Heel made a 4th and goal stand what took the wind out of their sails.
BYU, having a good season last year, still lost 4 of 6 on the road. This is a very tough trip to start the season for the Cougars. The cougars are a dismal 3-8 on their first road game of the year in the last 11 seasons. 2 of those 3 wins were by 3 points or less!!
