Series 1 in the AL parks was not what I have been used to seeing. Last night was closer to what I expected in Series 1. Here's a couple of ump situations I'm faced with today and just thought you might find them interesting.
Barrett is at Oak today. Oak is a heavy fav. Barrett has always liked small to medium dogs. Here's the problem today. He has been behind the plate in 10 games with Oak. In all ten the home team has won a game then lost a game and the home team won the last game. In the last 9, the fav won then the dog won. The fav won the last game. Dogs this year are 7-5 and HF are 3-4. At this price it's worth a shot.
Here's a real problem for you. Kulpa is at Cinn. I believe most people will go with Phil today. I've seen all the reasons why Phil is the play but Kulpa is my most consistant winner this year and was last year also. How does this look? Dogs are 8-6 for the year and HDs are 2-1 but another thing I follow on Kulpa and where I have made my money with him calls for Cinn today. It is 14-0 on the season. Is it time for it to finally miss? Well if it does, I'll be 14-1. Oh, before you play the over in this game today you might want to look at his over/under record with Cinn. Kulpa is going unders this year at 9-4, another thing I follow on him is 7-6-1 and calls for the under and his record with Cinn is 8-1-1 under. I would say this would be a dangerous over play at best.
