Illinois -4 over Temple
Illi is a terrible ats team.Let me say that first.Lyr 25-7 and were 13-13 ats.Away they were 4-6.But most of those were @ Minny,Iowa,Purdue, etc
Illi is loaded this yr.The "super sophs" are real.Brown is in a class by himself.can do it all.Williams and Ausustine are tough.Powell at 6'6 can score.Smith is a 7'2 presence in the paint.
They shoot well, play solid defense.rebound, and can hit the FT's.
Temple is still hurt'in from their midnite massacre by Nova.Nova turned the tide on them and went zone.Temple coudn't score.Shot 10-40 from the 3's in losing 73-48.Temple has Collins who is a good shooter despite his 3-10last week. But around him are some question marks.Hawkins shot 4-15 but lyr he had some inconsistent games too. They are athletic but will have trouble scoring pts.Butler their 7'0 is still out with a bad ankle. If he plays he'll come of the bench.
Temple is better then it showed. But the matchup problems will be tough today vs this talented, athelitic team.
Temple also is a bad ats team.Chaney gets a lot of respect from me but ats there 4-11 as a dog and only 6-9 ats at home.
Brown and co win this by 10-14 on the road.

Penn St +1.5 over Buffalo
Hate picking on Buffalo but there not a good shooting team. They do not play good defense. They are not coached well.Bortz there 7'0 is slow.Walker in nice and Batle is there best player.
The Lions have Jagula their 7'0 who is much better and can score. He should dominate inside vs the Bulls.Riley is there outside attack and at 6'6 can score.Egekeze is another 6'6 insdie player.Smith the frosh from NYC can stick the 3.Luber is the pt and needs to improve.DeChellis is the new coach and at ETSU where he was he pressed, trapped, etc.
Penn St is at the bottom of the Big-10 playing Buffalo at the bottom of the MAC.Jagula inside game dominates and gets a rare road win.Penn St was 0-11 lyr on the road. The yr before 0-12. But was 5-6 and 6-6 ats.

Running out of time so no write ups

Wisky -15 over Rutgers
Owens, defense, rebounding,Bo,home court, ats,Bo,Bo and Bo.Rutgers cannot rebound and play defense. Can score with Lama-Lama- dingdong{Herve]These guys love shooting 3's.Haven't seen Wisky defense.

Iona -2.5 over GMU
Iona gd talented. If Ruland sets up just 2 off. plays they beat this talented mason team.GMU is loaded but think Iona gets a home win.
Bama +13 over Providence..
Kabba,Gomes,McGrath are talented.Douthit is a big time shot blocker. But Bama has some greyhounds in Winston and Shelton and some talent to rebound and score.Bama lost to Pitt by 9.I think they can cover the +13.

Miss St -2 over WKU...read right angle post.wow..I know of the record. But today it gets broken.Bowers,Roberts Campbell and co can play.Bowers won't let the WKU atmosphere effect him.

Siena -1.5 over Little Dukies
Haddix is the best player in the gym.Mitchell is a solid pt gd.Beers can shoot from row 4.Jordan,Miller,can all play.Dukies have Tricco who can do it all.But Siena has depth, likes to run,is well coached.

Manhattan -18 Fordham..big rivalry. Both teams, schools, hate each other.Even the Jesuits hate the Christians Brothers.Flores and co will try to run it up.Have so many stories about these 2 rivalries. My fathers class 0f 36' hated the rams back then

For small plays
Wake -9.5 over Yale
East Tenn -5 over NC Wilma
Bowling Green +5 over Bradley
Ok St -11 over Pepperdine
Richmond +8 over UAB
SIU +5 over wisky-Mil

Will be back and put boxes to those plays

Richmond 2 boxes..I always forget one chimp.Ans when I do it always wins.lol
ajoytoy, liked Tulsa over TCU. Spent awhile capping it.But its one of those I passed on.I did put them in a 5 team parlay though.I capp way to many games.Thats my weakness.Should play just 2 or 3 games and thats it.Tulsa is a good example of a capped game I passed on Murray St,DePaul, louisville,St Joes, and Bonnies.
I put all those in some parlays for small amounts. But Tulsa will win and cover.. GL

Thanks for Illini Box. I'll be in Manhattan next week. Would love to buy you and your wife dinner and talk b-ball or other wifey things. I sell anesthesia machines for a living and understand her profession as well. Used to sell monitoring equipment for 5 years to ICU/CCU/ER/PACU. My Dad was a coach and I played as well. Take care.
