Way to many games today.Like so many but thats where I get in trouble.Almost like a kid looking in a candy store window. But there are no more candy stores windows.

I'll post a few early games but my top plays are mostly tonite.

Cornell -3.5 over Columbia *******
St Peters +1 over Marist *******
Utah -3 over New Mex ****
Duke -12 over Georgetown ***

Prov +11.5 over UConn
No need to go over Conn. But with backup to Brown out,Ben with a mask and playing in Hartford help the Frairs.Prov beat Illi, lost to Texas in OT.Lyr did beat Conn in Storrs.
Timmy plays his 2-3 zone and has Douthitat 6'10 and Gomes who is avg 19 pts a game.McGrath can play even with Brown.Conn is loaded and has depth. But I think Prov will try to play that half court offense, slow down Conns transition, double down on Okafor and let Conn shoot from the outside.Ben with his broken nose will be effected somewhat.Reports say its his dribbling that will hindered.
Conn the past 3 yrs was 14-2,13-2 and 17 -2 at home. But vs the ATS 5-6,6-6 and 7-8.

Akron -11.5 over Cent Mich
Small play..Zips playing at home with Tarver the leading scorer avg 23 pts a game and Woods top rebounder.Hollingworth is a solid pt gd.Futch and Hipsher are a pair of 6'8 players that can score.joyce and MaFadden can shoot the 3.Zips defense needs to step up.
CM lost kaman and haven't recovered.Brigitha has taken over as their leading scorer. But CM 's problem is defense. They can't stop anybody. They have given up 80,82,83,85,90,90,and 103.
Tarver alone could get 30 today.

Duke -12 over Georgetown
Game is already soldout. But the problem is many Duke fans bought up the remaining tickets.GT is overated.Played a great non-league.In BE they just beat the Johnnies at home.Just beat Rutgers, lost to BC,WV and UConn.Riley and Bowman are decent but Duke plays tough defense and contests all shots.Hoyas in trouble.Lyr Hoyas did go down to Duke -12 and covered losing only by 7.But not today.Duke just got its No 1 back and Hoyas pressing and trapping defense works vs the Coastals,Norfolks, and Howards but not against the Blue devils.

Cornell -3.5 over Columbia
I'm forgetting the 90-66 whipping the Big Red already layed in the Lions.
Cornell has Barnes[20 pts] who could be Pl of the Yr in the Ivy.He does it all, score, pass, and play defense.Toppert is his partner at the other gd spot avg 17 pts a game.Taylor,Collins and Stephenson can all score and are 6'6,6'8 and 6'8.
Columbia has Preston and Kravic both fds who are their top scorers avg 15 and 10 pts.But neither are big rebounders.Worthington is 7'0 but is slow and avg just 2 bds a game.
But this team lacks scoring and rebounding big time.Jones has done a good job doubling his wins this yr.they play tough defense but not enough to stop Ka'ron Barnes and co.
Big red has had big problems in Harlem Heights winning lyr by 2 and losing the next 3 yrs by 16,4, and 17.but most of those yrs the Lions won up in Ithaca too.

thanks guys.Prov was a nice sweet win.Didn't think they would win out right though.
Timmy does a great job as a coach. It's funny because his father is much smarter and knowlegible. But these kids to day relate to the younger coaches.Jerry dominated the SUNY league at Potsdam.

Utah -3 over New Mex *******
Utah has dominated this series despite splitting lyr.Utah plays defense.Contests shots and passing lanes.NM just got a taste of defense vs Air Force last week at home.AF stopped them cold.Held Lobos to 38% shooting.NM has Granger who is avg 21pts and 10 bds.Chiotti,Devries and the others can score.
Besides their great defense the Utes have some offense.Jacobson is a big 6'4 gd who can shoot from anywhere.he's avg 15 pts a game and shoots 46% from the 3.Chaney is another 6'4 gd who shoots the 3 better at 48%.Bogut is the Aussie who is 6'10 and today should dominate inside.Frost at 6'9 gives the Utes a great tandem in the paint.Bogut avg a double-d with 12 pts and 10 bds a game.
Olsen,Bogut and Drisdom all avg 2 apgs. They pass the ball, look for the open man,etc
Utah wins this by 8-10 pts on the road.

UCLA +5 over Cal ***
Cal doesn't impress me at all.UCLA is a little overated but I think they can beat Cal outright.Cals star is Powe a frosh.UCLA is soft in the middle after stanford exposed them. But Thompson,Cummings,Bruins own super frosh Ariza, and Bozeman are enough to cover and maybe win outright.

Dayton -5 over Lasalle **
Johnnies +7 over Rutgers **
North Texas +10 over Ark St *

Will be back later for St Peters,Cal Fullerton,Pitt ...

St Peters +1 over Marist
Peter is 6-1 in the MAAC.Right behind Manhattan. No way they trip and fall down tonite in Poughkeepsie.
Tonite is Keydren time.Clark after his 38 pts vs Iona the other nite vaulted him to No 2 in the nation in scoring with a 27.1 avg. This 5'9 gd plays so smooth.Never gets excited.Very laid back. But he can shoot and dribble. What makes him unstopable is how he creates his own shot off the dribble.
Peter beat Marist already by 6 in jersey.Clark scored 23 of their last 27 pts.
Peter also has another frosh Nichols who can shoot and Watkins.Sowers who looked like Dr J vs Iona is a 6'7 inside player they need.Leckie uses 7'0 Ali to rebound and jam the middle and throws in Yates and Curry. This team has really gelled togetherand everyone knows their roll.
Marist beat Fairfield at home but then lost to Canisius.Griffs are a good outside shooting team.Foxes 2-3 had holes in it all nite.
Foxes offense is inconsistent.Ellerbee is their best scorer.Hood,Young,Handy,Siegriest,Monogan...who knows who shows up.but frosh pt gd Jordan is great.Has started the past 2 weeks putting Monogan on the bench.Jared is 4th in assits in the MAAC.He can do it all, shoot, dribble and penetrate.McClurkin the 6'8 post player is tough inside.
Foxes 3 pt shooting is terrible. They shoot 30%,FT shooting 64% and they avg 62 pts a game.Peter shoots the 3 at 35%,FT69% and avg 74 pts a game.
I like Peter tonite to win this by 6-8 pts.Marist's zone will have problems tonite which will force them to go man/man.That is there weaker defense.
McCann will be packed tonite to see Keydran. The game will be on TV but an hour tape delay.I'll not cheat and watch the game on delay.

Pitt +2.5 over Cuse
Pitt gds can handle the 2-3 zone.Inside game of Pitt can handle Warrick and Forth.Pitt is to athletic and is quicker.Jimmy Mac pulled his groin in the SH game and didn't play the last 10 minuts. He won't be 100%.Pitt wins this by 6-8 pts.If SH defense stopped the Cuse wait until they see Pitts.Pitt also has the Cuse number winning 4 of their last 5.

Cal-Fullerton -3 over Idaho
Both teams at the bottom of the Big west.Fuller has a solid frosh gd in Brown who can motor.Andrews can score at the other gd spot. But Papa Sow the 6'10 kid leads the BW in rebounding and is 2nd in rebs.Idaho is 1-8 on the road and will have a tough time stopping Brown and Sow.They lost a good player to academics but Groomes has come back from an injury. They have nice size with Pape.Idaho is small with only davis at 6'8.The rest of the starters are 5'11,6'1,6'4 and 6'4.Pape Sow weighs in at 250 pounds.

Utah St -6 over Cal-Riverside
Love Stews teams. They are 14-1.Play great defense holding everyone to under 60 pts.Aggies have balanced scoring with Butler avg 13 pts.Nelson their top rebounder is expected to play tonite with a mask.Riverside who some say could win the BW have some scorers in Carter,Morton and Butler. But thier defense is suspect. small play

No Iowa -10.5 over Bradley
NIU is 5-2 in the MVC.They are 8-2 at home.Jaconson,Gruber and Schnedierman can play.Bradley has lost last 8 of 9.are 1-6 on the road.W/O Gilbert they are hurting.

Sorry about Utah.Damn.I was way,way off on that one.

Vegas Baby !!
I played the St John's and Dayton also. What a bad break in both games, especially St John's. They lose by 1/2 after a see-saw lead change all the way til the 5 minute mark.

Well,I watched the St Peter-Marist game on an hour tape delay.Marist started out strong,Peter came back. But what an ending.
With 4 seconds left Peter is up 65-62.Monogan takes a corner jumper from the 3.Mendez of St Peters fouls him.
Marist calls time out.Down 3 there are many scenario's that can occur depending on what happens.Monogan misses the 1st shot.Makes the 2nd. Score 65-63.Marist calls time out.
Still 4 seconds on the clock.Magarity puts in his 2 best rebounders.I'm thinking miss the shot and get a put back in.Announcers say the same thing.Monogan shoots and makes it.I don't think he was susposed too.
Peter in bounds, long pass, dribble and gets fouled. There is 1.5 seconds on the clock.Nichols hits both FT's[he should of missed the last one on purpose].The score 67-64. Marist timeout.
Handy comes in with a baseball pass that goes to the other end of the basket.it bounces lose and Monogan picks it up and takes an uncontested 3 pt shot just as the buzzer goes off.The ball misses as his shot almost goes in to tie.Peter wins and covers.
A little to close for me but a win..
Thanks for all the nice comments.
DD..Johnnies loss was close like daytons.
Like Siena +2 over Canisius tomr
