WLA totals went 3-1 and I played the only loser. I went 2-1. Today the two big fav look solid so D's par looks pretty good. The small dogs are looking pretty good. I'm tired of capping so will put up what I've got so you have time to look at them. If I work on any more, I post them.

Fav
CC -105

Dogs
SD +125
TB + 125
CWS + 130
Oak + 180

Totals
NYY o 9'
Cinn o9'
Ari u7
Cle o 11

Also show a slight adv to Cle. Mon looks pretty good but there's something that keeps bothering me about it.

Boy, I feel like the Lone Ranger. My first three are straight bets and my par for the day. I really liked Oak until KC posted but got to go with it anyway. Also have a pretty good lean toward Ana. Oh well, here goes.

Oak +180
TB +125
CWS +130
Cinn o9'

Hate to go against ndn but these two teams hit each other's pitcher like little league AAA. Also, Kulpa is due to go over today.

Good luck everyone

got a ? for ya if you get the time...one of my books is offering a prop on oakland's total runs scored today at 4, over is -115. and since i see you on oak, i thought i would ask if you had an opinion on it. i like this prop for a few reasons, one being the health of wells' back, another with scheiber behind the plate and lastly the length of last night's game(using mendoza and hitchcock), which could require wells to stay out there and log some innings-- feel like this prop is based on past results (considering that oak hasnt scored 4 in the last 3 games and nyy hasnt given up 4 in the last 3 games) and not this particular game with a questionable wells, tired nyy staff and a favorable ump in this situation. thanks for any reply--

wigs....Now that's an interesting prop....just for the reasons you list, plus I feel much like you that Oakland will put some runs on the board today especially with the condition of Wells' back. As you know, Wells left last game after 2 innings from the back spasms, and I read where Torre told Weaver to prepare to start Sat just in case....of course Weaver had to come in last night in long relief. Wells says he's fine, but Wells says that a lot of times when he's not 100% too....don't really know, but with the long game last night and the condition of Wells, I think over 4 Oakland would be the better play on that prop.

Just my .02 ....hope you don't mind....also interested to hear gsp's opinion on that prop.

Good luck to you and all.

i dont mind at all, ndnfan, thats why i posted it in gsp's thread. :)
just looking for feedback b/c i thought the total should at least be 4.5 for today and to push at 4(also oak being visitor and getting 27 outs) looked promising. some other points that i liked were wells 7.11 day era this year(i believe his day era is almost a run higher for his career also) in addition it appears that there are a few a's that hit him reasonably well(tejada, durham, velarde, long) just looks like a good gamble imo :)

looks like thurman was recalled and would serve as long-relief--

After using seven pitchers, Torre was faced with a huge dilemma for Saturday's game. David Wells, the scheduled starter, has been hampered by back spasms over his last few starts, so the plan was to have Weaver ready as backup should Wells be forced out of the game early.

Now, with Weaver (as well as every other Yankees reliever) essentially unavailable on Saturday, New York was forced to make a roster move. First baseman/DH Nick Johnson was placed on the disabled list with a bruised left wrist to make room for right-hander Mike Thurman, who will be in the bullpen for Saturday's game.

"With what went on tonight, we'll go for the time being with 12 pitchers," Torre said. "It was a function of this game. I was bragging all week about having coverage for Boomer. Now, it's 'Come on Boomer!
