Kansas City area for who knows how long....
I's Saturday and that means lots of guessing---will be some that are wrong. Please give your updates and opinions!

Star-Ledger sez Backburn tonight. He might get back to back starts later in week too.

Gotta be Osgood for this important matchup, and Snow suspended for two games. Away team won all five meetings last year, and 8-2 last 10. over is 4-1-1 last 6 meetings, 6-2-2 last 10.

Nash--Vokoun I'm guessing?

MN--"Fernandez" reports ticker preview quoting coach Lemaire. Fernandez is 6-3-1 with a 1.90 goals against average and a .923 save percentage

Buffalo--must be Biron with mediocre start by Miller last night and Noronen sent down after going 0-4-1 this season.

Boston--Grahame?

Phila--Chechmanek? Ticker reports "Roman Cechmanek played only one of the Flyers' four games against the Leafs last season, but posted a 3-0 shutout with 31 saves in that appearance.

Cechmanek is 7-3-4 this season, but 1-2-2 in his last five games."

Toronto---Belfour I suppose. He's started last four, has been decent, and rested.

Carolina--Irbe gets first start in a month tonight, sez News-Observer in this article......http://newsobserver.com/hurricanes/story/1963095p-1917820c.html

Montreal--Hackett, probably this article sez.......http://www.faceoff.com/nhl/news/story.html?f=/news/20021123/435835.html

Columbus---"MacLean says Jean-Francois Labbe could get his first start of the season against the Senators." Sez Scanlan in today's Ottawa Citizen.

Ott--gotta be Lalime. Ott under is 7-1 at home, columbus 3-3 on road.

ATL--?? WA official site sez " Nurminen manned the pipes in Atlanta's 3-1 loss on Friday. With Hnilicka being placed on waivers, the stage is set for Dafoe to start against Washington on Saturday. Dafoe admits that his conditioning needs work and claims that making his Thrashers debut on Tuesday is more likely and reasonable.

The Thrashers have given up 71 goals on the season, most in the NHL."

Washington is 9-3-3 all-time vs. Atlanta and 6-0-1 vs. the Thrashers on home ice.

WA--Kolzig I expect. At paper sez "Washington goalie Olaf Kolzig shut out the Thrashers twice last season and was 2-1-1-0 with a 1.00 goals-against average and 96.5 save percentage. "

TB--Khabib I expect. and he could be sharp tonight--his last performance worst of season and got pulled. ticker sez "Brodeur is 21-6-3 all-time against Tampa Bay, while Khabibulin is 4-2-1 in seven games vs. the Devils."

NJ--gotta be Brodeur

SJ--Nabokov I expect

Pitt--Aubin I expect, Hedberg played last night, and Pitt paper sez " Although Kehoe hasn't named his goaltender for the Penguins' game against San Jose tonight at Mellon Arena, Jean-Sebastien Aubin figures to get serious consideration. Not only because he played so well in the Penguins' 3-2 overtime loss Wednesday to Montreal, but also because Johan Hedberg has not fared very well against the Sharks, his former team. Hedberg was 0-2 against San Jose last season, allowing 11 goals in a little less than 100 minutes of work (a goals-against average of 6.60) and posting a save percentage of .750."

Colo--Roy I expect

STL--Brathwaite??

Chicago--Thibaut I expect. ticker sez "Jocelyn Thibault, who had made eight straight starts in goal for the Blackhawks before Wednesday, is 9-5-2 in 16 games with a 1.86 goals-against average and a .925 save percentage."

Calgary--"G Roman Turek is probable tonight; he hasn't played since Oct. 30, when he broke the middle finger in his catching hand." sez Calgary Herald

Detroit--Legace? Cujo pulled last night.

Edmonton--Salo I expect

Dallas--Tugnutt. Turco played last night, and hasn't started back to back yet

LA--Potvin I expect
