momoney...I have a student Ashely U, a freshman who lives in a house you cannot believe.when I delivered her a free turkey just before thanksgiving her house was unreal.An Ozark Mountain shed looks better.[please no offense to Ozarks] Kitchen floor half gone,stove from the 50's,no heat,wood burning stove,etc
At our falculty meeting we made Ashley a secret,secret santa claus...I was thinking of doing something as guardians angels also...if they owned the house I thought of doing a makeover ourselves of her house...get a plumber,,roofer,etc.My teachers were all behind it.Raise money.. get a carpenter,buy carpet,etc...but they don't own the house. we found out last week they rent..and the owner is a slum lord.Plus I meet ashely's father and he seemed shady.
As my last act as the principal of my school my asst and I delivered a TV,Ipod and a whole bunch of things...But the father was there and we kinda think he's into drugs...he was very thankful as we bought the tv in the house.It smelled of cat piss,floors with holes,a blanket over the window with a wire as there curtain...wood burning stove that wasn't properly installed...smoke in one room,etc..porch with bds missing and a front lawn that fred sanford and son had...I was trying to spin something with the guardian angels and helping her in someway.but this father might have sold the TV already...I did put a call into our ele. principal to see if CPS or anyone has ever checked this house out.They have 2 other kids in ele school.
And with everything going on with me I
put a hold right now on our guardian angel..but fear not..it will come..thanks for asking
Herb is doing good.I'm calling him tonite.Micheal is still in a coma and his parents are still planning on taking him home... Peace to all of you this holiday
