NT won big over Marshall on the rd the other day but the Herd aren't to good...think Char wins this by double d's..

Rider can score but can't play defense...Lewis and Hart combo have every one in Poughkeepsie forgetting the the frozen Hudson River right on campus...

Manhattan -8 over Fairfield **
Jaspers playing good despite big loss of Beamon...Brown inside should control the bds..

Think Rebs put a pounding on the Cocks..as long as Henderson kept curfew and didn't smoke anything...

Cal -14.5 over Wash St ****
Has anyone been watching this Cal team..wow...they can shoot,rebound and have 6'10 Solomon...Cobbs is an excellent pt gd..they get back super frosh Bird back even though they don't need him...they went up to Oregon and put on a clinic...Wash st is terrible...lost to stanford by 30,Zona St by 19 and Zona held them to 25 pts...can't shoot or score...and going up against a hot team....Bears win by 20...

UTA +3 over Texas St ****
Mavs are so up and down...lose to La Laf La-Monroe and UALR....lose to Texas{ which I saw} and OU by 2 and 3 pts...Dowell is one of the best gds in Texas and could start for any team in this state...avs 22 pts a game...Edwards at 6'6 plays much bigger then that avg 17 pts and 9 bds with 31 blocked shots...these guys are quick and can score..but defense seems to be a problem...the Iona of the southwest....Tex St relies on Wright to score and with its new coach plays good defense..but no home court advantage what so ever..there will be 200 people in the stands this afternoon....actually 201..I'm going....giving up the Iowa St-Texas game being played at the same time..

Dog Lover..just got home coaching my grand daughters YMCA hoops team...for 4 and 5 yrs old....over here in south west Austin...off Slaughter...walk out of the gym and its 65 degrees....damn..life is good here...going to tape the Iowa St game...and watch it when I come back....killing 2 birds with one stone...wife is going to drop me off at Tex St gym and she will go to the San Marcos Retail Mall....by the time she is finished shopping she can pick me up....the big question is .... with the money I make on UTA +3 equal the money she spends....no matter what...... I'll either break even if I win or lose both plays if the Bobcats cover.....can't even hedge the play....enjoy the game....I will be sitting in row 1,right behind the scorers table....but you have good seats in sec 33.....enjoy the game... they should get a big crowd..I have bowling Tues nite so I might miss the K-state game..trying to get a sub for me..
