Did this game last week in anticipation because I thought I was going to it...but plans change and I ended up staying up here a few extra days..at least I got to see Marist one more time...I had the line at UTA -12 to -14..then this week did it again and got -15-16....so when the line came out at -10 i loved it..now it dropped to under double digits..so its a strong play...last week UTA blew Coastal away 90-69...Coastal is new in the Sun conf and is really young..Coastal goes into San Marcus this week and beats Texas St 60-53..I know capping by comparative scores isn't reliable but in this case I think so...bobcats play great defense..pressure,man/man,etc...but in the 3 yrs Kasper has been there he has never got his offense in track...he can't carry over his SFA days to the bobcats..he is a great coach but never has the offensive horses...Tilburry is his biggest weapon and avgs 14 pts..the rest of the starters avg 12,9 and 5...
UTA on offense is loaded...Hervey at 6'9 does everything...Jones and Wilson are 6'2 built gds that are good.. then you have 5'10 Neal who is just a step behind Creighton's Watson..Neals ballhandling skills negates the Bobcats biggest strong point...no way the bobcats gds can trap or put pressure on Neal...get him the ball and everyone scatter...inside UTA has Bilboa and Pope both at 6'8 and 6'9 and then Hervey who is 6'9 either posting up or shoot 3's...last yr UTA won both games 65-53 and 75-69...w/o Hervey...UTA beat Texas a month ago by 11 about 25 miles north of here...beat Mary on the left coast by 14..held them to 51 pts...UTA is a good defensive team...think Bobcats are in trouble scoring and lose by double digits..strong play..

Creighton -4 over Prov ****
Think no one is stopping the Blue Jays unless you from Philadelphia...last yr Prov won at home by 4, with Bentl and Dunn scoring 44 of there 70 pts...Foster is the best player out there today.. Watson is just great to watch...Patton inside has been great...Prov has Bullock and Holt..not enough around them...Jays got the shake up call after nova loss...Prov cannot hang with the good teams..lost to XU and Butler and last week a bad BC team them by 12...

Maryland +7.5 over Michigan **

Midd Tenn -12 over North Texas ***
NT's Johnson might not play..and new transfer from Smoo Frazier is out..MT can score and play D...2 things NT can't do...

Col Charles -6.5 over Hofstra **
Harvard -5 over Dartmouth ****

Quinn -2.5 over Manhattan *
Both teams bad....MC coach was kicked out of the gym vs Fairfield..he was almost kicked out at Marist the nite before...they have 4 gds all 5'7,5'9,5'10 and 6'0....all lies on the program.. and they all can't shoot a 3 yet their coach continues to let them hoist it up..vs Marist the other nite..they were 6-28 the gds 6-26 and in the Fairfield game 5-20...so in Manhattan's last 2 games they are 11-48...what kills me is they still allow them to shoot....in the Marist game they were all pretty good looks and of the 22 misses everyone was short and hit the front of the rim...Quinn can't play defense but they won at Marist by 14,won at Niagara and gave Canisius a game...small play

Peter +4.5 over Siena *
Watched the Saints the other nite on TV...they looked terrible...have all their starters back...top tier MAAC team...have the talent to beat Peter by 20..but Peter plays good defense..small play..

East Tenn -6.5 over Mercer **
ETSU is my marring team..just close my eyes and play them..they are really good...

Rider game was great last nite...it was really a close game until the final 6 minutes...Taylor Riders best player picked up his 3rd foul early...with the game tied I really think the coach forgot about him in the 2nd half..with under 9 minutes to go Baggett the Rider coach looked at Taylor on the bench during a timeout and realized he wasn't in the game...protecting your best player with 8 minutes to go...Taylor went in and hit a 3 and a layup and Rider was never behind again....."hello,asst coaches"..someone mention that Taylor hasn't played in the 2nd half...unreal....It would of looked pretty bad if I got up from my seat which was directly behind Baggett and remind him.." that I have a few boxes*'s on this game -2.5"... GL today..strong play UTA

E Mich seems so darn easy that it scared me off. That team has a lot of talent but not a whole lot of character to go with it. They should hammer the Bulls.

3 putt pete I agree I had this game at EMU -10 -12...Buffalo last away win was in Alaska a month ago...Toledo just beat them by 28...even Canisus beat them in OT by 7...at home I think....then they killed Cent Mich and held the leading scorer in the country to 22....Magnum 4 and Thompson 4 can score...amazing names these kids have now...

UTA -8 now ..darn..not sure why the drop...Hervey does have a bad knee but he has been playing....well riding the Mavs and holding on to the....saddle and what ever you call the reins ....took it at -9.5 and -9 and another ** at -8....
