I don't handicap preseason football. I don't believe anyone can honestly say they can. What I do is read and gather as much info I can on trends and tendencies of teams, and preseason philosopies of head coaches, analyse and compare matchups and come up with conclusions for the outcome. A little different than handicapping the team .
To answer your Question.
I've been "playing the games" for twenty something years, and am still working on perfecting it.

If you are reading and gathering as much info and tendencies of teams, along with a research of the PRESEASON philosophy's of head coaches and comparing match-ups to determine the outcome of the game, how can you say you "don't handicap preseason football."

Yeh.. It just don't seem like I'm Handicapping the game itself. I'm Not looking at the team statistics, etc. I don't consider following trends handicapping. Just my point of veiw..

When the time is right to seriously analyze a game, last years and this years statistics are used along with the abilities of the individuals on a team, and lines are evaluated .Lots more to consider. Don't think it matters nearly as
much in preseason.
