Kansas City area for who knows how long....
under 8 Phil/Mtl -105

over 8.5 AZ/SD -105

under 9.5 Ana/TB -106

over 10.5 TX/Balt -102

parlay: LA and Anah (1 unit pays 1.27)

here's hoping Phila is true to form and scores two runs or so after the 10+ offensive outburst (may be asking too much for this trend to hold seven times in row now).

two starters struggling big time there at SD.

Ape has always been superb vs TB, and Kennedy usually does well after a bad outing (tho he's always poor vs Ana).

2-1 yesterday, +0.88 units. Stopped my four day slide. (not counting the miserable chalk parlays. yes, I'm soon just gonna bet the opposite and take the dogs when I put together more of these! But today's is real strong....)

that takes it to +10.90 units overall (111-97-2)

think I wrote a wrong line in CWS/Loaiza under other day as Spock noticed. I'm not sure what it was but I had u9-109 (pinnacle) and that sounds too good---no wonder Spock wanted to know where it came from! I did get it overnight at Gold Coast Casino for u9-120 and it closed there u9-125. So I graded it at -125.

preseason MLB pics posted here: 22-10-2 (+10.29 units)

all (but one two unit so far) flat bet 1 unit risk per pic (for example, a +135 pic would pay 1.35 units, a -135 pic would pay 0.74 units).

parlay pics: 0-10

any comments?

good luck to everyone!!

thanks for the info loop!

thanks for the info loop!

I didn't think about distinguishing NL/AL....got lots to learn....

how are you working questec in your ump evaluations?

I see that T.Welke, 12-0 for the home team this season, is supposed to be at HP Sunday in Cleveland---a questec park. but he has three questec plate appearances already this season...

i haven't really made much out of what to do with questec. my reflex thoughts are that it will be bad for ground ball pitchers by virtue of taking away the low outside pitch. likewise, i think it would help the fly ball pitchers with the high strike. and believe it or not, i've never made much out of the home/away umpire stats, having never noted any statistically significant deviation in those stats. i know gsp has done a lot more with this particular characteristic. i do believe that some umps favor pitching styles, and i try to look for a good fit. for example, with cuzzi above, i think he favors the low outside strike, which is seen with much more regularity in the national league. if he's calling for someone like, say, maddux, who likes to pitch low and away, i think greg has a huge advantage. i say that without knowing how maddux has fared with cuzzi. this is just my postulating right now.
