You couldn't hire me to miss today's game. Everybody on TV keeps saying that neither team plays d and that just isn't so. When they have to, Sac has been playing d for the past two years and Dal's trades were for defensive purposes (that's what Dal keeps saying). The truth is that neither team has had to play that much d but I believe they can. Here's the problem as I see it today. Will they use this game to feel each other out (which could be the highest scoring game of the year) or surprise everyone and both teams concentrate on d. I don't believe Sac can win a run and gun game with Dallas. I think the first qt will live up to all the hype. Then look for some d from the team that is behind. I think that Sac has serious match-up problems. Who can guard Dirk. Webber is not tall enough and Lonny not fast enough. Christy (Sac best defender) will have his hands full with Nash or Finley. Can Bibby handle Nash? That might be the key to this series. And don't forget LaFrentz. He can go off at any time. In my opinion, Dallas has one weakness that might come into play, Van Exel. He wants his points and if he is having a bad shooting game will put up some of the stupidest shots you have every seen. Has done it as long as I can remember. Look at the last Minn game and you will see what I am talking about. The other three, if they are off, will defer to whoever is hot. Not him. In a tight game he could be the difference if he's off.

Sac can't win unless Petra has a good shooting game and if things don't go well watch for Webber to get frustrated with the team. He can't stand adversity and it shows on his face. Since the loss in the NCAA finals, he is not at his best in a big game that is tight. The first time things don't go right he will get down on himself.

Going with small par

Dallas +4'
u 211'

Look to get both or lose both. So far my series plays are 7-0. Didn't play Orl/Char. I think Dallas is the better team here. Good luck everyone

Great information gsp........

Great information gsp........

man I'm with ya on some "hidden" defense up the sleeve of these two teams. Think your dead on right with your comments!

Don't forget that little defensive "gem" the Mavs pulled out to crawl back into game 2 of the T-wolves game during the 2nd period. They don't like it and the players were huffing and puffing.....which kill their shooting legs for 2H!

SAC folded under the Jazz defense and physical play. Nellie's a fool if he didn't notice that!!

I concurr my friend! GL ez
