YTD: 51 - 31 = +20.96 units

i've been noticing a trend that the home teams on saturday seem to be winning the majority of games.....and MORE so in the NL....
i'll look into that further....

maybe that's why the ML's are so high on the home teams today...????

plays to come later.

1) ATLANTA / COLORADO UNDER 11.5 -125 ( 3 units )

millwood seems to be magical at COORS field....hopefully DENNIS STARK'll pitch an "ok" game today.
I've followed millwood over the last few years at coors....would have made this a five unit play...but i don't know much about STARK.

millwood against COLORADO : 5- 1 and a 2.81 ERA

in COLORADO, Millwood has given up 6 runs in 28 innings of work...????

i like those stats.

just for the record, i have a bad vibe about the D-BACKS game today...not gonna lay the -1.5 on SHILLING...

why?

1)philly seems to be a team that shilling has problems with...and don't be decieved by PHILLY's bad road record....they always get up to play against shilling.

2) shilling's starts against PHILLY :
LOST 5-1 in arizona and won 4-3 in philly this year...not very impressive to be laying -260 on him.

just some thoughts...the OVER looks tempting though.

ok, so this is what i have found so far on home teams winning on saturdays in BOTH leagues.

this season:

AL : home team has won 25 out of 40 games on saturday = 63%

NL: home team has won 29 out of 45 games on saturday = 64%

hmmmmmmmmmm..not too shabby.

i'll come back with possible money won scenario if you had bet on the home teams on saturdays, latr...

ok, here we go:

the saturdays for home teams have gone like this so far:

if you had wagered one unit (per play) = 100 bucks

WEEK 1: they went 3 - 12 = -11.38 units
WEEK 2: they went 9 - 6 = - 2.30 units
WEEK 3 : 10 - 4 = +4.44 units
WEEK 4 : 10 - 3 = +6.62 units
WEEK 5: 13 - 2 = +11.07 units
WEEK 6 : 9 - 4 = +5.43 units

now, just for argument's sake, let's throw out the first week
(due to teams adjusting to the new season and what not)

on SATURDAY: home teams have gone 51 - 19 (73%)= +25.26 units!!!
