Have YET to start off a day well this week, so hopefully that changes today... it better!

Anaheim at CLEVELAND

SWAMI has all the stats you need for this game at FREE PICKS, I was thinking UNDER as soon as I saw the line, but his comments cemented it for me, along with having HIRSCHBECK behind HP who is 10-16 O/U and only 9-18 for HT. The HT stat is a bit misleading though, as basically he favors the FAVORED team, 15-12. Home Dogs have a dismal 2-8 record with him. ON the totals, he's 4-11 UNDER on games 9 to 10.5. The kid C.C. is having a great rookie year for the INDIANS, but mostly on the road where he is 10-1 and the team is 12-3. At home, he's just 2-3 and the team 5-4. Pat "beat the" RAPP is no RAMON ORTIZ, but he's given the ANGELS young staff stability and innings. He receives very little support normally (only 4.4 rpg) thus his losing record. In his last five starts, he's 4-1 with 2.84 ERA as the ANGELS bats have awakened scoring 34 RUNS in his last four! The ANGELS BP is the best in ML, and will be counted on for 2.5-3.5 innings today, but are well rested after CG by ORTIZ yesterday. THE ONLY problem I see in this game is, CLEV KILLS RAPP! Look at this list:
  • Gonzalez .529 2 HR's
  • Vizquel .480
  • Lofton .471
  • Cordero .435
  • Thome .409 - though he may sit
  • Burks .379 4 HR's
Rapp however has not lost since July 3rd, going 3-0 with 4 no decisions in seven starts. RAPP is a different pitcher this year as opposed to his past, and I think he gives the HALOS five to six strong innings, maybe giving up 3 runs. ANGELS are +595 on the road vs LH, and I think this game is almost a toss up. I'm riding the HALOS again and the UNDER 10.

ANGELS +160 & UNDER 10 -105

CWS +1.5 +105
PITT +180

I was debating on playing OAK in this game, considering MULDERS record during the day, but those came mostly at home. For whatever reason he's not nearly effective on the road, and I think CWS will play hard in this game. I look for them to stay in it, and getting +1.5 and plus money is too good to pass on. PITT is 4-1 after losing five or more, so it's time for them to break their streak! *AT a very nice price I might add!

Atlanta at SAN FRAN

Gotta take the GIANTS here to come back against the BRAVES. ATL is a good road team, especially vs LH starters, but I can't see SF allowing this one to get away knowing JOHNSON is going tonite for AZ. REUTER finds ways to win at home, usually due to great run support... MARQUIS gets no support whatsoever, but which makes me like SF even more. REUTER's starts go OVER 17-7 and I gotta believe the SF bats get up for the game today. They came back with five the last time they were shut down, looking for that or more today.

SAN FRAN -130

SEATTLE -130

SEATTLE hasn't lost THREE in a row all year, have YET to lose a series on the road, and I don't see them doing it today. I think they win this game, and maybe lose tomorrow to lose a series, but I think they come back vs LILLY and give the KID PANIERO another win.

Sitting at 3-3 with two games going, both looking ok, but it ain't over til ROSIE O'DONNEL sings right?

adding these:

LA -145
CUBS +1.5 +105
MONTREAL OVER 9 -115

That's it... I can't break even unless a total TIES!
