Passing on fla

Alabama (lost 85-54 at Florida. Game was essentially over at halftime - 46-23 - and they knew it. Alabama's prior game vs. Georgia had been postponed by snow, changing the preparation plans for that road game against Florida. Alabama plays with the revenge of having lost 8 of the last 9 against Florida. :mj03:

The Sooners escaped with a slim win over Missouri on Thursday, and are 7-0 SU and 6-1 ATS their last seven games overall. They come off a win against Texas Tech, two games ago by 20 down in Lubbock.

The Red Raiders are 3-3 SU their last six, but have covered only one of their previous six, that one being the win yesterday over the Cyclones.

Hey Raymond,
I almost think its fixed to get more teams from YOUR conference in the dance, hence, more money...

My point, Villanova was in ,, WVU LOCKED it up with a win yesterday
Villanova wins that game 9 out of 10 times..

UNLESS teams trying to insure more tourny money

still loved you Nova pick yesterday...

Keep up the good work..

New Mexico needs it so much more than Utah,

a team that lives and dies by one guy -- Bogut --

who, if he gets into foul trouble, they're dead.

If Utah wins, then the Mountain West conference

may be sending only one team -- Utah -- to the

NCAA Tournament because New Mexico's strength

of schedule is ranked 295th in the nation. Utah's

isn't all that much better. It's around 170, but

once you get below 150, it's all splitting hairs.

Utah hasn't played anyone either and New Mexico

gained confidence in beating them by 9 in New

Mexico last month

The Gophers come into today's game fresh off a win nobody thought they could get, facing a red-hot Indiana team that came in flat as a pancake. Illinois had relatively no trouble with N'western yesterday, and now faces a Gopher team they destroyed earlier this year. However, we all know in conference tournaments anything can happen. I watched both games yesterday, and saw how methodical the Gophers were on offense, using the high-low to perfection. They provide matchup problems for the Illini, with Hagen and Tollackson in the middle. Expect them to try and get the ball to their two big men and for Minnesota to hand the Illini their 2nd loss this season.

In this MAC championship game, Buffalo, a team that joined the conference in 1997 and hasn't been to the NCAA Tournament since becoming a Division I school in 1991, takes on the Bobcats from Ohio, who are the slight favorites. Not in my mind. Buffalo has the edge down low with Idbihi, and on the outside with the MAC player of the year in Turner Battle. Ohio has had a nice run, but what a story it will be as the little guys from wing country come up and win this baby to get to the dance.

St. Joe's has arguably the hottest player in the A-10, Carroll, who scored 30 on 9-of-15 shooting yesterday in a win over Xavier. Today, the Hawks take on GW for the 2nd time this year, and have beaten them by a score of 71-58 on the Colonials home floor just two weeks ago. GW hopes if they lose they can still get in to the dance as an at large with wins over Maryland and the like. Suddenly, that win at Maryland doesn't look so good. St. Joe's, the reigning champ, gets in with the automatic and wins by double digits today.

Lighting can't strike twice against us, can it? West Virginia has been shooting the lights out, but they face a just as hot Cuse team that they lost to by eight earlier this year. Cuse is 3-1 SU and ATS their last four, including wins over UConn last night and Rutgers Thursday in the Big East Tourney. Expect a large contingency of Orange fans to make the trip to the Garden to see their team get their first tournament championship in almost a decade.

WOW! Raymond, that is a bold statement. Are you saying play the moneyline? Or take the 12 1/2 and run to the bank.

Louisville has split two games with the Tigers this season, with each winning on the other's home floor. It was the Cardinal in trouble yesterday, not the Tigers, as Louisville sweated it out against a tough as nails UAB team. In the end, however, star power took over, as Garcia and Dean prevailed. Memphis has the inconsistent guard play with Washington Jr, and I don't trust him in a big spot. This one is all Cardinal.
