I like the Clips tonight but can't justify the line. Is there anyone other than Jamison on GS's team worth 5 points. Come to think of it, is Jamison worth 5 when Kobe and Shak are only worth 4?

Haven't they jigged the ping pong ball thing enough that the incentives to lose just aren't powerful enough in most situations?

Ex. the worst team does no worse than the fourth pick....2nd worst 5th...etc.

And if your answer is no, isn't still a bit early for that kind of thing?

I read your post yesterday and understand what you're saying, but I'm just not sure about the timing of letting up this early or if the lottery as it's currently set up has nearly the effect on game outcomes as it once did.
