There's one very interesting game today that a lot of people are going to be on. Dallas at SA. At first the over looked like a no-brainer but the more I looked at it the less I liked it. Here's my thinking on it.
The last 7 games between these two all went over so why not this one. Well for openers this game should be played like a play-off game. We have division title and home-court both up for grabs between these two so it's reasonable to assume a play-off type game. In the play-offs last year all but one of the games went over. But wait a minute, All the lines were in the mid to high 80's and only one game went over 200. Also, this is the second time these teams have played since the trades and according to Nelson, the trades were made to help the d. That game was in Dallas and Dallas had just romped at home on LAL. I believe they went into that game over confident. I look for a much better d out of Dallas today and if they win they pretty well have the division and home-court locked. SA has really clamped down on the d the past three weeks and will keep it up today.
Personally, I think Dallas is the better team and if Van Exel don't shoot them out of a game they will play for the western title.
