Satellite and internet?

Hey guys:

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this.

I was planning on possibly getting a dish, maybe Voom or DirecTv, and wondered what others have done in regards to their internet service in these circumstances.

Do you still use the cable company?
Is there an internet service the satellite offers?
Do you go DSL (which I used before and thought was significantly slower than cable, so I switched)?

Also, which of the satellite companies would you guys recommend.

I got Direct TV and then switched over to the Verizon Freedom Package for unlimited local, long distance and DSL needs.

I have not noticed any dramatic speed changes from cable, on occasion it is a wee slower, but not enuff to get worked up over.
