In the first meeting held in Kent between the Flashes and Bobcats Kent shot 50% from beyond the arc and also went to the stripe 26 times to Ohio U's 10 attempts. This does not repeat in Athens.

I must continue to back Akron's opponents in first half plays until I see the Zips come out of the locker room with some intensity. Though they keep on winning, this has not happened for some time now. have an idea that Akron will win pretty big but most the damage will occur in the second half, as it has been for the last month.

Fyi, Moser was on ESPN radio yesterday and said Averkamp's status was up in the air, but also that he had not practiced yet. That would lead me to believe he is out of today's game as well.

I think Moser is a good coach and going to do well at Loyola in the coming years. I know he wasn't successful during his stint at IL State but I think his time at SLU under Majerus helped him and he seems much improved.

I highly agree.... am very impressed with what he has got out of this bunch. He should be able to find some hidden gems in the Chic area to come play for the Ramblers. For sure a program to watch.

Zips have played poorly in the FH but BG was even worse... Marshall is something like 1-8 and that won't last for a 70% shooter.
