Good morning to all the Viewers or Viewer who comes back here 200+times.
Looks like nice weather and a pretty decent card today at Philly. I'm gonna share something today that's pretty interesting; it's something I dreamed up after checking a whole bunch of data I've accumulated for quite some time. I call it an EXACTA SYSTEM. Yeah, "system" and IF there's a Peeper out there that knows a thing about horses or systems, he/she knows thems are a shortcut to bankruptcy.
Still, IF you can just find a way to be able predict races that will have Zacks that pay over $40 or so; this SYS. could be pretty valuable. I tried it a few times for $1 Zacks and it hit two small exactas in 4 races and that ain't enough cause you gotta play plenty of tickets. Here's some Pros and Cons:
Pros
- Just give it the nos. of the contenders you come up with (don't ask how I do that part,
Peepers :wall: ) and it does a good job of arranging them for the exacta bets. IT DOES NOT JUST MAKE every POSSIBLE COMBO OF THE NOS. YOU FEED IT, SOMEHOW IT JUST MATCHES THEM UP RIGHT MOST of the time.
- It hits more than you would think when it comes to Zacks that pay around $100 ($2 tickets).
- It can get HOT and it has nailed multiple huge Zacks on several days last month. Three days over a 90 day period - playing it only on "Playable" races (usually that would be 4 or 5 races) and you woulda left the twack up approx. $300 or more on each of those days.
Cons
- Playing $2 tickets works better than $1 tickets.
- The required bets can get really expensive; $/race range from $18 (rarely) to $42/race. That's the reason I hardly ever use it.
- Play it every race on "normal" racing days and even if it does hit over half the exactas - you'll be licking your wounds cause the normal exacta payouts will not match the $ bet for the day.
- Like any system, it had two COLD streaks and even betting "Playables", only -> your losses woulda been well over $200 for each streak.
- It's easy to assume that large fields mean big Zackta payouts but the larger the field -> the more combos it will tell you cover and that gets too risky. I've seen too many large fields with two favorites exactas.
My advice is to either have some fun and give it a shot or two or better yet - just have fun seeing how it does. Don't get hooked on it whenever I decide to post it's plicks though. I rarely use it, but I gotta mention that I lost the last race I played and posted - last Tuesday's last race. I lost about $18 and the SYS woulda costed me $24. I lost and the SYS came though for that $123.80 zackta payoff. UGH!
I'l post what it came up with for today's first two playable races. This is a small sample so it could hit both or lose both. Maybe today's first race will result with a NICE Zack cause it's a field of maiden, inconsistent, dirt bags.
Today:
1st race is playable so here ya go... . . 1,3,4 top/bot 1,2,7. That means -> 1,3,4 OVER 1,2,7 and 1,2,7 OVER 1,3,4 ($32 and I ain't biting) and DON'T change a thing. I've done that (tweaked it) and payed the price for doing that.
Edited: I forgot one mo PRO .. . . . I think that - IF you're gonna try it out, Philly is the place to do it.
AND, my plicks would be 2,4 top/bot 3,6 for the first race. I doubt that I will take my chances betting anything in today's first race though.
