i watched the pitt/jax game twice now.
pittsburgh's big plays came against the jax blitz. jags can't blitz and when they do they get burned - which doesn't bode well against NE. if they try to blitz, big plays for NE, if they don't blitz, they sit back in their zone def. and get picked apart.
the big lines NE was laying towards the end of the year did finally catch up with them (as well as some tired legs), but now we have a smaller number (relatively speaking), and a couple of weeks rest for NE, against a jax team that is traveling for the third week in a row (to hou, pitt, and now NE), coming off an emotionally and physically draining game vs. pitt.
PLAYED NEW ENGLAND -13 5*
good luck to all.
