Any idea what the line will be for this one? Any chance we'll see Washington laying 3 or more? Probably something like Washington -2 but wanted to see what others thought. May have to go in for one last huge wager before the big tourney

Sound about right. . . could see some sharp money hit Washington because of their home winning streak but I think it would be for the wrong reasons. . . ;)

Either way, Washington has shown me from the first game against Arizona to this game against ASU that they DO NOT play defense whatsoever. . . they are a damn good offensive team but they don't play both sides of the ball. This is evident when they are shooting nearly 60% from the field and over 70% from 3 point range yet ASU has hung around from the free throw line.

yep
neither of us played any d last year....arizona made the comittment to play defense this year...while us hasn't....that and their lack of an inside game will be thier undoing.....early in the ncaa

Metal Toughness

Metal Toughness

I go to Arizona and am an avid PAC 10 basketball fan and one thing that i am proud of tonight is Arizonas mental toughness. I mean the first meeting they were winning by 4 with 2 minutes to go at home and lost, and tonight they were down by four on the road and they won. Honestly I played the moneyline tonight just due to the fact that the first time they played i thought that WASH ST played a style that we would not like very much. I like arizonas new found desire to finish every game and i believe that we are still going to win @ WASH...

Arizona could shoot 40% from the field and Washington 50% yet Arizona could win the game from the foul line the way Washington plays defense. If Arizona hits anywhere close to Washington percentage wise, it should be a decent win.

as long as we play inside-out i'll be happy....shakur,rodgers, ivan, salim jacking up quick jumpers or threes will play right into uw hands (since they play no defense it's "go ahead and shoot 20 foot jumpers")

Good point. . . still suprised that Lute didn't see what everyone and the announcers saw with Frye having such a huge advantage. Frye should have gotten the ball more than he did even though he got it more than usual.

he got the ball plenty....wazzu started doubling immediately on every entry pass midway thru the 2nd half (both channing and ivan)......hassan on the wing feeding channing on the post, or driving baseline was very effective tonight.

he was getting doubled but I still think they should have gone to him EVERY time. . . then he could either post up and take a good shot or find the open man. Just didn't do it enough when they had such a size advantage upfront. Either way, still glad they found a way to win that crappy game. It was painful to watch

dick bennett's teams should be banned from TV.....just post the final score in the newspaper the next day.

why would anybody with any talent want to play in that system? kelatti must be hating life....he could be avg. 20 ppg at a school like uw or asu

What's really tough is Arizona may have to play them one more time in the Pac-10 tourney.. . since Arizona is #1 seeded and WSU #8. Would be horrible to lose out on a 1 or 2 seed because Arizona can't run against the Cougars. Shall be interesting

Have seen 3/3-/4. With it all on the line at home I honestly expect a Washington cover. I think Az has a better chance of doing damage in MArch, but they get beat tomorrow
