Decent week so far. I?ve been on a bad trend of stinking the joint completely up on Saturdays, so looking to change that today. Here are the early plays:
Cleveland St. +7.5 for 2 units - WIN ? in a grind it out game, with both teams still playing for seeding in the conference tournament, I think this one will be close throughout. Cleve St. can only get as high as the 3 seed, but they would love to upset the Bulldogs and perhaps prevent them from hosting the conference semi?s and finals.
DePaul -1 for 4 units - LOSS ? today is the day for my Blue Demons. They get lowly St. John?s in for an early tip and its their best opportunity to prevent an 0-fer conference record. DePaul matches up well and playing Nova close throughout the whole game on Wednesday has given them the needed confidence that hasn?t existed this season. It?s senior day, but look for super soph?s Koshwal and Tucker to put up some big #?s today.
G?Town/Nova Under 143 for 3 units - WIN ? The Hoyas have seen that can?t run for an entire game with the faster paced teams in the conference. Look for them to really try to control and slow the pace in this one. They are going to want to work the ball inside and get Cunningham from Nova in foul trouble.
Looking at the late games and some college baseball games as well now. Probably back with a few more in a bit.
