4-0 thursday, 2-0 friday. this dart-throwing method is really paying off nicely. some more "shots in the dark" for saturday:
2 units....florida (+105) over new york
simply backing what i feel is the much better pitcher. burnett was pretty sharp vs philly last outing, but then all the sudden he lost his composure- (which is basically the problem with burnett. dominant stuff. but sometimes erratic) i dont see the mets being disciplined enough to make him work. marlins should get this one
2 units...new york (-145) over minnesota
same logic on the yanks last night applies here today. yanks pitching staff is simply dominating the twins this year. minnesota is averaging 2 runs a game in 4 gms vs the yanks this year. yanks just appear to be the superior team when these two teams match up. eventually the twins will get it together and theyre every bit as good as the yanks but until then- no reason to buck new york in this spot.
