Thanks to the kudo for last nite. Looks like the time off was exactly what I needed. Definitely going for quality, not quantity. Cutting down the plays but going up on the units. Hope to keep the MO going.

Pedro came back to form in last game but was against the anemic Balt offense. The real test will be today's game, and with Wells pitching so well, +135 is a great value.

Weather here on the east coast could play into this, (much needed) showers this afternoon. If this comes into to play look to see Pedro sitting on the bench early(rain delays) then watch the Yanks will rip the Sox iffy bullpen to shreads. I like the Yanks +135 and the over 8.

Ridiculous Chicago local line. But still would play at +175 or higher. The scouts say that Erickson pretty much has his stuff back, especially his sinker. Ritchie has not been that impressive.

dubs...i was looking at that baltimore game as well but erickson's record and era against the chi sox is terrible...any thoughts on that play? i'm still thinking of playing it despite the trend...cooz

Hey, buddy. I agree with Fletch's comment from a week back that the stats and trends aren't nearly as important early on in the season. So far Erickson isn't the same pitcher as last year's. Erickson pitched great also in his 1st loss, gave up a 3 run dinger to Nomar in the 8th, I believe when he should have been pulled probably after the 7th. But he looked good.

Another interesting trend on Ritchie, he is 14-5 in home games when his team is off a win. Some people will weigh their decision heavily on that, but to me that has to be thrown out the window since he's in a different league now.

Baltimore or no play, IMHO.
