Strong day yesterday, 5-1 for +5.24 units. And yes I needed it. I don't like to let losing streaks fester for too long. You start to 2nd guess yourself if you aren't careful. We'll still try a little harder today though as we did lose one.
Total record here goes to 95-75/+13.16 units. On to Saturday:
LA -140 over Arizona ** 2 units
After losing the first 2 games at home LA should bounce back here. The Dodgers only hit .262 as a team but it jumps to almost .300 against lefthanders. They love 'em and that's what Anderson is. After looking at Shilling and the Big Unit it may seem like they are taking batting practice. As it is Anderson is only 1-5 on the road while Ashby has a strong 2.35 ERA at home. This one could get ugly. I also recommend a long look at the OVER as well if you play totals.
Minnesota -130 over Texas
Twins are playing well and the Rangers have lost 4 in a row. While Rogers has been steady on the hill Santana has shown flashes of brilliance. He's 4-1 with a 2.45 ERA for the season. In 40.1 innings he has only allowed 11 earned runs and has struck out 51 hitters. He's got great stuff and is seemingly getting better. In his last 3 appearances he is 2-0 with a 1.42 ERA. Hard not to take the Twins here at -130. It just feels right......
Small leans on Atlanta and KC as well. Good luck guys. Have a golf scramble today so I'll see you all Sunday probably.
