yay, i pushed on that second half play!! that's like a win right now.

and, wow, i could not have been more wrong about clemson's defense. i mean, i think jt barrett has actually regressed from last year. you take away his first read, and he looks like a dear in headlights. but a lot of props to clemson's defense.

seriously, how did this team lose to pitt and only beat troy by 6?

The over reaction to their win vs Alabama weak ass offensive game I think will be disastrous for Clemson backers.... I fainted when it came out less than a TD... I may be wrong and God knows I have but I will lose a very nice bet on Bama...

i know what you're saying, and lord knows i love profiting from overreactions to one game, but i've felt all year that hurts is going to cost that team. if, if, if you can make him throw the ball, alabama becomes very beatable. he simply makes far too many bad decisions with the football. don't forget, he damn near threw a pick their very first play tonight. the d back had it in his hands. and as good as that d is, washington had one very good drive and was following it up with another one when they fumbled the ball. i texted my friend right at that point and said that was the ball game. sure enough, washington barely moved the ball after that. but watson is better than browning and his mobility is a HUGE factor. clemson will move the ball.

if clemson's d plays like it did tonight, i'd actually be surprised if alabama wins this game.

of course, i've been wrong a LOT the last few days.

happy new year, sir. may you have a terrific 2017. :toast:

ha. good general rules. but i hammered denver against new england last year. rules are made to be broken!! :)

for the record, "rules are made to be broken" is one of the dumbest expressions out there.

i really think the biggest difference between these 2 teams from last year is alabama's freshman qb.
