Lot of games...need to discipline myself..spent a lot of time on these games but this is the way the numbers come out.

Start with my MAAC
Fairfield -7.5 over Rider ***** strong play
Stags are tough.I hate to be redundant but they have Needham at the pt,and Johnson inside. They play tough defense, are at home.Rider always scares me because I always have them at higher numbers. They have somewhat awoken but not today in Conn.

Siena -18 over Marist ***
Saints might have more people in Poughkeepsie today then Foxes fans.Ubiles hometown boy might not play. But Moore, frankin ,etc are enough for a 20 pt win.Saints have the longest winning streak in the country...they press, change defenses, etc.Ubiles out lowers my boxes.

Mason -8 over JMU ***
Northern Iowa -1.5 over Mizzou St ***
Baylor +9 over Texas **
Hofstra -11.5 over Delaware ***
Illi St -8.5 over Bradley **
Charlotte -3 over Umass **
ND -8 over Rutgers **
Dayton -4.5 over Bonnies **
Kansas -4 over KSU **
Murray St -18 over Tenn martin **
Northeastern pk over ODU **

Cornell -8 over Harvard ***** strong play
Best of the Ivies...Big Red loaded.Whitman and the aircraft carrier Foote to much for a good Crimson team.Big Red double d win..

Any chance you'll have some more as the day goes on or did you do all your research already? Either way, thanks for the picks. :toast:

Do you keep a personal record? Just curious how your season has gone, and what your level of success has been over the years.

thadchir..I will have a few more for tonite...

cie grant...I don't keep my daily or weekly..at the start of the year I do...I have such time contraints..I try to capp games the day before..but then have to get the daily update..the daily updates effects what I did the nite before..then I must make my plays and post it...I've been doing this for a long time but like today should really not play as many games...some cappers will play one or two games and thats fine.My system allows me to make a number of plays....My No 1 rule is...I get a list of all the teams playing w/o the line.I make up own line in my head, then do my capping on both teams and then look at the line.so for example I liked today G.Mason -8 over JMU...I thought it would open at -11..Then using my numbers I have it at -12 to -13.The line is -8 and I like mason. Now that might sound great but it always doesn't work.We all know there are so many factors that can alter it.Pearson there best player gets two fouls in the 1st 6 minutes and sits the whole half,etc...
A few nites ago I lost 5 or 6 games but won on a strong play..People will say concentrate on the strong games..but it doesn't work like that..I'll lose a strong play and go 5-1 on the lesser plays...
We are all crazy doing this. That I know...There are many good cappers here far better them me.I love looking at their picks and I'll follow them or adjust some of mine. Many put there records out there which is great, but I don't need that.I think I know who is good or maybe hot....Hubie brown once said " if the lamp falls off a table and breaks..its broken....you can't go back change anything..it broke..where do you go from there. If G.Mason doesn't cover today the lamp broke..I'm a little poorer but must move on.Browns favorite quote..."the dog may bark but the caravan moves on"...
My record last yr was 307-260 with a 54.1 %

and do want to thank all you guys that say nice things in my posts...win or lose everyone is so nice and respectful....now I'm going to look at the mason score and either cry or smile..GL today.

Honestly, I was starting to think that it was impossible for Box to lose on his big plays.

I'm genuinely shocked. :scared

Sure hope we get this Cornell play! :0corn

Cie, when I was playing CBB pretty heavily not too many years ago, I remember piggybacking Box and his northeast plays that nobody seemed to know half as well as he did. I owe Box a ton of gratitude - he always seemed to get me off to a good early start, and I had a great year that year. Remember some excellent cappers that I followed - Box in the east, Countinguy in the Big 10, a couple others, and I had a good read on the Mizzou Valley and pretty good with the Big 12.

Anyway, I fully encourage you keeping an eye on Box's threads. He's a great guy and knows his hoops like few others.

Cheers, guys!
