WAY too many games today, so let's get right to it....
boston college (+6.5) 1 unit. if this game is close coming down the stretch, clemson can't hit free throws. wouldn't be surprised by an outright win, as the tigers fall back to earth like they do every year once they get into conference play.
villanova (-5) 1 unit. don't love this play nearly as much as i did 'nova over ND earlier this week, but i expect the wildcats to take advantage of a tired texas team that has yet to beat a good team on the road.
wisconsin (-2) 1 unit. seems almost too easy. wisky is solid; illinois not nearly the team they were the last few years.
florida st (-13) 1 unit. tough to take this seminole team laying this many points, but the line is almost begging for action on miami.
northwestern (+5) 1 unit. i'd take most high school teams in the country getting points from the golden gophers.
arkansas (-3) 2 units. ye olde "unranked team favored over a ranked team" play. this line makes no sense whatsoever. gotta play the hogs.
ucla (-5.5) 1 unit. arizona really struggling right now, losing 2 straight. ucla not doing much better, eeking out 2 wins since the loss at oregon. i think it will come down to ucla controlling the tempo and frustrating the wildcats. strong lean to the under as well.
penn state (+2) 1 unit :scared did i really just type that? see what happens when i don't get enough sleep? this line looks like a trap to me, begging for michigan state money. because i cannot offer a single logical explanation for this line being so low. wait, i take that back. michigan state hasn't won a single road game this year. holy crap, i actually like the nittany lions? maybe joepa will coach the hoops team today?
washington state (-5.5) 1 unit. wow, the huskies sure fell quickly. 1-5 in conference? another team that has not won a road game all season. cougars are playing with a lot of confidence.
bradley (-1) 1 unit. really like the braves to beat a wichita state team that is really struggling, especially on the road.
texas a&m (-9.5) 1 unit. are the aggies really the 8th best team in the country? probably not. but i think they'll take care of a tired oklahoma st team tonight. if they're trying to put away the game late from the free throw line, they shoot 74% (sadly, that is pretty good these days). the top 4 guys (most likely to be shooting FT's at the end of the game) combine to shoot 80%.
new mexico state (+2.5) 1 unit. gotta like a conference home dog that hasn't lost at home all year. in fact, the aggies won 13 straight games overall before losing on wednesday. granted, they haven't beaten anybody of nevada's caliber, but i think they pull out a win tonight.
