Phils @ Cubs

The Cubbies are finally getting production from the middle of their order and that makes them a very dangerous team.

Hamels gets the nod for Philly today and this favors the Cubs to me. They hit better against left handed pitching and Hamels is 3-5 on the road with an ERA over 5.

Wells goes for the Cubs and if you look at his numbers they are better overall than Hamels in the last three outings. He has better numbers in hits allowed, ERA, and WHIP.

If the Cubbies get to the Phils bullpen they should score some runs since the Phils bullpen has an ERA of 6.00 in the last three appearances.

The Phillies are 4-9 in Hamels' last 13 starts as a road favorite and 0-6 in their last 6 games as a road favorite of -110 to -150.

Cederstrom is behind the plate and he is a big time homer and I will take every edge I can get when I am backing the home dog Cubbies.

Cubs +115

Winds are blowing out of Wrigley and I am taking the over 9+105

At the same time tho wells is only 2-3 at home and 4-7 overall with 4.61 era. Hamels is 3-4 on road this season but is 3-1 against cubbies w 2.61 era and even with the recent losses phils have won 8 out of last 12. I'm on the phils here bol one of us will win that's for sure:toast:

I like Tigers under. I went with your pick on CUbs. With winds blowing out there should be some homeruns.. GL

Saw those numbers and that is why I included the over, I figured a split would not be the worst thing but still look for the sweep. GL

robertw477,

GL to us, hoping that middle of teh lineup stays hot for the Cubbies.
