Crappy luck last night with the Canucks. Hope today is a better day. Love the Eagles today! No way ATL WR's can stay with the Philly corners. They will force Vick into alot of mistakes. Eagles will be able to have a spy or two following him all game long. Every time that the Falcons lost this year was when the opposing team forced Vick to beat them with his arm rather than his legs.

PHILADELPHIA (TICKER) -- A pair of first-place teams meet at the First Union Center on Saturday afternoon when the Philadelphia Flyers host the Detroit Red Wings.

The Flyers are 9-3-2 over their last 14 games and have won five straight games. The Flyers have topped four goals three times in that span and with a victory Saturday will match their longest winning streak of this season.

Detroit is 13-4-4 in its last 21 games, has won two of three on its four-game road trip and 5-1-3 in its last nine contests away from home.

Curtis Joseph has struggled against the Flyers, compliling a 5-13-0 record with a 3.88 goals-against average in 20 career starts.

The Red Wings are facing the Flyers for the first time since October 18, 2001 at Joe Louis Arena, when Sergei Fedorov and Hull scored in the final 41 seconds of regulation to lift Detroit to a 3-2 win.
