central michigan over 51
buffalo (+6)
buffalo moneyline (+210)
central michigan has thrown the ball an obscene amount of times the last two weeks. smith was 33/51 for 382 against northern illinois, and then 46/70 against western michigan last week. chips title hopes were crushed against northern illinois and it showed in their defensive effort last week. theyve made tons of progress this season but get the feeling the playcalling will be super aggressive again today with nothing to lose. ball state/cmu played in the season finale last year and the final was 41-40.
very conceivable that emu could mail this game in today. they have no senior leadership, so the whole 'win for the seniors' in their final game gets tossed out the window. they completely collapsed last week against ball state, blowing a 25-7 lead in the final 7:00 and losing 26-25. much like kent state, emich is just a losing progrram that doesnt give any indication of giving a damn about 'pride' at this point of the season. emu grossly underachieved this year and a road loss to buffalo would be a fitting end to the season. bulls have been very competitive at home this year in front of their 1,000 or so fans each game, and those gms were against teams far better than emu.
