8-4 record last saturday rescues slow start on early games and evens record overall at 13-13. some early plays today:


louisville +3-: cards can score, and after watching unc's unidemensional offense run roughshod over the orange for the last two years, i can't imagine syracuse stopping anything like louisville's offense.


ncs/osu over 42-: should have gotten this on up earlier, line has moved up 2- points this morning. wolfpack's young d isn't going to shut out the buckeyes, and rivers is going to get his against anybody anywhere.


rutgers -7: read box and one's thread; army sucks.


aub/vandy over 43: after not scoring a td in their first two games, i got a hunch auburn is going to rip off a few points today. vandy's d is down a little this year, but their offense is a little better.


mtsu +14: bowden is on the way out.



wanted to play south carolina, but can't for the life of me figure out how the cocks are going to score on georgia. think the wake game will go over but passing. that's probably it until tonight.

wake +1-: this line has moved simply because a raft of services are on the boilermakers. no way grobe's guys should be a home dog in this game. deacons will score at least 30.

The line has moved because there are indications that Wake will have to throw more than 15 times to win this game - IMO


Purdue is primed to limit this rushing offense and barring penalties and turnovers galore, should win this game. Tough to discount the surging Deacs, but really CANNOT see them scoring 30 today.

nice early card! That Auburn/Vandy was my only game. Said in my thread Auburn would cover by themselves, and they did Really thought Vandy would be more competitive, however. Auburn had no letup, they kept slamming it in the endzone when they could have just run it up the middle and kicked field goals. I like that! Gonna look at Houston and Memphis on your recommendation. Weird card today, imo, had a very hard time finding anything I liked. GL!
