hey rex,

i liked the aggies to start with, but there are some interesting numbers posted at one of the offshores. don't know if they're a sponsor so i won't name them, but they post up the percentage of players on each side as well as the percentage of money bet on each side. according to their numbers, 85% of their bettors have bet ok st, but the 15% that have bet on a&m have bet 71% of the total money. what do you make of that?

thanks insider, too bad i messed up a clean slate with that hawaii play; 'course, i'm not complaining.

rex,

this money tracking seems to be a useful tool. it was the primary thing that set this play apart for me. the reason i asked the question above is i really don't know what to make of the numbers, but, to me, it seem to set the sharp money (presumably the larger bettors?) apart from joe public. usually, i just don't want to be where 80% of the bettors are, but i don't mind being where 80% of the money is, know what i mean?

get my email from jack and drop me a line, i shoot you the site and see what you can make of it.

loophole,

great day yesterday !!!!!

continued success.

thanks for the nice words you said in my thread. it means alot to me.

i learned from my old football coach to be humble in victory. and i have followed that since.

Loop, is this money tracking the same betwwts info that ie2002 sometimes posts? I also find this useful, and have used Sports Insights to get aggregate data from three online books, but it is only on the number of bets, not money flow. I like the idea of seeing money flow too. If your source isn't a sponsor, please e-mail using address in my profile. Thanks.

The e-mail address you have on file is old.

Thanks!

loop, don't think that is the money but rather % of bettors on the moneyline bets, same as the % of bettors on the spread and the total.

that's interesting ie. it was represented as a "dollars bet" percentage by a poster at the other forum that i visit from time to time you know, the one that's been around forever in net terms, real nice guy runs it, with an irish last name, know what i mean? either way, it has appeared very predictive over a very small sample of games. i would be interested in knowing.

should i publish the name of the book site here? they're not a sponsor but i'm looking for an easy way to get it out to all that are interested, somewhere short of being an email clearing house. also be nice to have more people tracking it and picking it apart, so to speak. let me know.
