the run continues - keep your fingers crossed.

southern conference tourney

davidson +1: seeiing starts to make a difference. davidson relatively easy go of it vs citadel, dominated in every phase of the game. wildcats had the luxury of playing all 13 players, with only one strter logging 30 minutes. unc-g got bounced to the first round after tying for first in season and now has third game in three days against fresher davidson. top two scorers for unc-g both logged over 35 minutes yesterday.

furman +9: a little different setup here with both teams in third game but c of c tough ot game yesterday where all five starters logged at least 40 minutes playing time, this on the heels of first round game where four starters logged 30+ minutes. furman stayed with their eight man rotation which has kept playing time down for all. paladins lit it up at 58.7% yesterday.

also

utah +4-: just a bet on the better coach and team who know how to win big games like this.

niagara -2: hard to pass this homecourt line with niagara playing well and looking to atone narrow loss at iona.

smaller plays i like:

wright st -1-
richmond -5-
nc state +5-
ky -2

back later -gl!

some more for tonight

some more for tonight

ul laf -1: not sure what's up with this line. got some bad info yesterday on nick rivers. thought he was closer to full speed but obviously playing in pain, although he did score 20 pts in 12 minutes. second game in a row on that bum leg should slow him down considerably. also heard rumblings that some other ark st players are banged up but playing. ul laf closed out the season strongly, should have the clear edge here.

e wash +3-: follow the big sky fairly closely and this will be the first time i've ever bet on a team in the second leg of the sacramento/flagstaff road trip, but e wash playing like a team of destiny. a win tonight coupled with a montana win over mon st gives them the season crown and the right to host the conference tourney for the first time in school history. they couldn't be playing better (see yesterday's post) and last night controlled the game the entire way. hot shooting also continued at 57% clip. n az d last night was nonexistent, allowing portland st to shoot 60% on their home floor.

How is your back? It has to be getting tired from carrying me. :D

Oh, btw, my bookie :thefinger wants your address, he doesn't like you very much.

Another great day, keep it up.

Was really rooting for your Wolfpack yesterday, thought they might pull it out for a while there. They are my dark horse in the ACC tourney.

What am I doing up this early??

i tell ya, right now if i was having any more fun i'd be twins (or be doin' twins). :D for all you guys who play or used to play hoops, it's been like one of those nights when everything you throw up finds a way to go in.

can't believe e wash lost to n az after leading the whole game. they had been unconciously hot. just goes to show what a huge factor that sacramento to flagstaff overnight trip can be.

thanks for the props guys. just settling in with my morning coffee and see a couple of attractive games today. be back soon with some plays.
