This team is too good to be playing at their recent level. Bowie is doubtful again for NIU and Eastern needs somebody to tee off on back on their home floor. NIU is a likely candidate.

My thoughts exactly. Ball St on the improve and BG's Parker is questionable after sustaining a quad injury in the Akron game. Watched BG closely vs Akron and they looked really, really awful. If Ball can limit Holmes production the rest of the BG cast isn't good enough to beat down anybody

A great high school game tonight.
Wesleyan Christian vs Oak Hill: Should be a monster game- WC has Randolph Childress playing for them and a big man Harry Giles who is all world with offers from EVERYONE. Oak HIll is a typical Steve smith team- Good team with strong guards and stud Dwayne Bacon who is an FSU commit. Game is on CBS Sports Network tonight at 10. I lean toward Oak HIll because i think they are a better defensive team but doubt I play it.

Have to admit that I see Akron play more than anybody and I still can't figure them out. They have some shooters that have lied dormant most of the early season but they seem to be coming out of their shell. When they don't get too 3 happy and work their offense inside / out and they are not too bad. The key is to give the big guy plenty of touches. That opens up the entire floor and when they make shots they win, simple as that. Their defense is almost always sufficient to get them the W in this conference.

Am I way off for thinking this Toledo game goes over? I keep seeing it in the 154 range... I have to play it.
WMU does not play great defense and as long as I get decent shooting I think this one has a good chance.

Sorry Mus, been out all day and straight to the game where the #2 scoring offense is sitting on 24 pts at the half. The game has opened up later on so still a slim glimmer of hope for the over. The Toledo score looks good at the half for you

Saw Wesleyan play at Broughton HS in Raleigh at a big time Christmas tourney. Giles is a freak who had lots of jams yet a nice outside touch. Kye Parker (guard) can jump out of the gym. Thanks for letting us know. WIll definately catch that.
