How do you know when to follow public and when to fade the public ?

I know I'm nowhere near as good as a capper as Kid, however, I feel I use a similar system as him. When Team A is favored but the line moves in towards Team B, bet team B. When Team A is favored and the line moves significantly towards Team A, bet Team A. I don't know if that makes any sense to anyone who isn't a line junky! What makes Kid a much better capper than me is, instead of using just my brain, I tend to use my heart as well. When I do that, I lose.

GL Kid, we seem to be on the same plays so far today.

One major point I left out in the above analysis is public consensus. When Team A is favored, along with being a public bet, but the line moves towards Team B, bet Team B. When Team A is favored, along with being a public bet, and the line move significantly with Team A, bet Team A.

**Note: This is only how I play line movement, in no way am I saying NBA Kid plays it this way.
