Kansas City area for who knows how long....
'Canes official site sez Barrasso tonight "will play his first game since Jan 6". rusty?

Phila is winning like crazy, but now face pissed off Leafs at home wanting to win bad. Gonna be a battle. an over?
Phila 15-6-3 ATS on road
Leafs 15-6-2 ATS at home.

SJ now in winning streak. Colorado will want to avenge 0-3 lost 12/11, and unlucky 0-1 OT loss five days ago. But tough to do at SJ. The obvious bet is the under 4.5 +110?

MN is 2-4-1 on 0 days. 0-3 on 0 days if they won the first one. And gotta play Ottawa. Line is -.5 -200 of course. Only fly in mix is Roloson (Fernandez played fri) is 1-1-1 vs Ott, 1.56 gga, .950 pct. Another under? So many nowadays. 5.5 -130 here.

WA is 2-5-1 on 0 days. 0-1-1 on 0 days if 2nd day at home. Will Kolzig start back to back nites? Despite healing ankle, he did it last week. Canuck's Cloutier is 1-5-0 vs WA, 3.40 gga, .884 pct.

Montreal at TB. Theodore is playing well, and unlike most goalies, very sharp after a shutout. He's 0-2-0 vs TB, but just 1.52 gga, .923 pct. Nice goalie shootout if Kabib starts, but he's only had one b/b this season.

Night is young! Friday! Time to Party! See you all tomorrow.

Tampa Bay Review sez Weeks starting tonight.

Ott paper sez Lalime, with banged-up face from his first NHL fight (courtesy of Dafoe), starts tonight.

Don't teams coming off big fights play better next time out? That happened in last Calg/Anaheim dust-up. Boston papers talk of how fight really brought team together.

Any opinions on this? I'm trying to learn here

Turns out Khabib in goal, but he's playing like Weeks on a poor night, so bad info doesn't matter.

Pitt newspaper quotes Penguin coach that Hedberg will "probably" start tonight. Aubin sustained a minor injury in Vancouver game. paper also guesses that Salo is "the probable goalie"

Sabres' official site sez Biron and Esche in goal tonight. As expected. Biron has been very good lately, but so has Esche--especially at home.
