Ohio State -27
This is a total mismatch as this years Minny's team is a shell of what is was last year; without a top notch running game; Cupito is Kaput as seen last week needing a TD in the 4th qtr and blocked fg to beat a Div AA team. Minny was completely outplayed at HOME only churning out 250 yards and 10 pts of offense while giving up almost 400 yards; now face a team that is 14-1 ATS last 15 games and in order to continue to cover big spreads you have to have a great scoring defense which OSU has and a non complacent offense (OSU up 3 tds goes for a double wr reverse option pass for a TD last week) Put those 2 together and I see OSU covering this in the first half.
BYU -7 bought the hook
Last week San Diego State and Chuck Wrong not Long finally let me down as AF actually was beaten by the HORRIBLE San Diego State team. It was SDS first win and first cover all year. I have cashed on them all year long and Chuck 3rd and Long was highly overrated coach going into the season. AF losing to SDS is not a good sign going up against a BYU team that is hitting on all cylinders and a team that can run and pass putting up over 300 yards both ways last week. Now face a 1 demensional offense that will fighting upstream to keep up with a team averaging over 40 pts last 12. This will be a shootout but I cant see AF keeping up with BYU at least not for 4 quarters.
Marshall -6 1/2
Memphis is another team that without a good running game just cant compete like Minny. Last year D Williams carried this team and Doss isnt even comping close to putting up 1/4 the numbers Williams did and it shows. Marshall is off an upset win as a 7 pt dog and dont see Memphis being able to contain Bradshaw who is AVERAGING close to 7 yards PER RUSH. I have played against Memphis along with SDS all season and will continue to do so.
Small Play
NW -33 1/2
This line continues to go down. This a more of play against Carr and he is the polar opposite of Tressell and is fine with getting a lead and sitting on it. Without Manningham Michigan is not as much quick stricke offense as with him and NW offense is good enough to put up a couple of scores to keep them within the line.
