Saturday
-----------------------------------------------------------------

1) Wake Forest (+11)

Kinda though all year that Wake should be better than they showed...........Looks like they are peaking at just the right time with 3 straight wins and covers.

Duke is now 0-5 ATS their last 5 and 1-4 ATS the last 5 times they have favoured by DD's away from home.

Better on D, better on the boards, and a DD dog.
Automatic play.

Good luck today,
Tiger

Will post em as I play em..............

Thanks for the congrats fellas. Much appreciated!

2) North Carolina (-3.5)

Rare favourite for me. I just think they are much better than Boston College today. Their recent surge is well documented.........8 straight wins, and 11 wins in last 12. Before last night's push against Virginia they had 5 straight covers and covered 10 of their last 11.

What has been overlooked in all of this is their tremendous improvement on defence.......that more than any other reason is why they are blowing teams out.

Last 4 games...........average pts against is 63.5
Last 8 games...........average pts against is 67.8
Last 5 games, DFG% is a microscopic 34.5%

And all of this in the high scoring ACC.

The Tar Heels are better on the boards, better at the 3 ball and much better on defence. It's the defence that should be the key to another DD win today.

3) Nebraska/Kansas (under 128.5)

Kansas has played 4 straight unders and 5/6. Throw out the Texas blowout last weekend and they have given up an average of just 54.0 pts/gm in their last 6. Nebraska has given up 66 or less in their last 5 straight.

Both teams defensive stats are very impressive....

DFG% on the road
Nebraska................40.9%
Kansas...................40.4%

And both teams are going to miss a lot of free throws. Both are only 66% YTD, and both are below 60% in neutral court games.

I expect a close to the vest, very deliberate type of game in this one, and that plays to the under as well.
