If you need any insight on the Texas squad, just ask. I follow them 24-7-365. PG Fredie Williams will miss the game due to a knee injury against Team EASports. It looks like a partially torn ACl to go with the previously diagnosed strained MCL. His senior leadership and tenacious D will be missed but incoming Frosh and McD's All-American T.J. Ford is the real deal and brings alot of excitement to the team.

EA Sports Midwest All-Stars Head Coach Price Johnson
on tonight's game: "Texas has a first-class coach in Rick Barnes. This has been our 10th game on this tour, and we've played teams like Missouri, Michigan and Marquette. We've lost all 10, but Texas is by far the best team we have played. Their kids really believe in the system, and their coach lets them have some freedom. T.J. Ford understands his role on the team. He gives them a spark when he's out there. The five starters understand what the coach wants them to do. They defend well and crash the boards hard. Texas fans are going to have a lot of fun watching these kids this year."

good luck hoops, will be at the game also, looking for ivey and ford to matchup against gardner. i dont know if barnes will let ford stay on him the entire game, since he will have to log more minutes due to williams' injury. hope to see a good one!

Dudes!! I really wanted to make it out tonight but I had to watch my daughter. Listened to it on the radio though.

Shades of last year, poor FT shooting and cold FG shooting came back to haunt the Horns. Zona hit 21-26 while the Horns hit 10-21.

TJ broke a frosh assist record that was set in 1979 (8 assists) with 14. Fredie was missed since Ogden ended up running the point after TJ was hurt (TJ did come back in the last 2-3 minutes)& Ivey fouled out.

The team looked great the first half when TJ was at top speed. TJ definitely can keep up with Gardner. The only thing TJ lacks is a consistent scoring touch.

Tough loss but the future looks bright.

Yes, I thought the Horns looked good tonight as well. . . Arizona simply took things to a different level in the 2nd half.

Have a feeling Texas will make some noise before everything is finished!

Nickel, are you in Austin also? Were you at the game or did you see it on TV?

OK last thing, did anyone just watch Jessica Simpson on Mad TV tonight? Holy shit she looks good!

I caught simpson as well, she was showing some camel toe in a beach scene. i believe she is from dallas, i doubt i could listen to her talk for more than 5 seconds but she's not bad to look at.definitely poundable.... as far as the game tonight, i did attend with texasbc6 and Monk you made some great observations, ford is quite capable of running the point, they just need to finish. you live by the three, you die by the three. but they were forced into that after the double dose of injuries to ivey and ford early in the second half. that completely disrupted the game, not saying that ut would have won, they dropped a level. neither could run up and down the court, so they were forced to run a lot more half court than they would normally.ut's half court o was not generating the kind of looks from three point land that they get pushing the ball. if ford can learn to shoot and/or take better shots, with his moves and quickness, he'll do just fine. he couldnt do much of anything after he went down. and odgen running the point was a joke also. i thought i was watching hoosiers.... gardner and stoudamire were just too quick in the end. probably won't attend the next game (a&m-corpus christi) but will go see them play wash state. by the way nice pic felonius.... i thought you might have gone to philly last night, i heard there was a situation and well, I instantly assumed the Monk was involved...

oh yeah, simpson is 21. tax that ass...
